Great potential, but poor customer support and limited understanding that creating value is the ultimate goal. It took us three months to activate SMS on our U.S. number while the team kept promising... See more

Aircall is similar to any VOIP phone provide, your numbers get flagged as SPAM. I DO NOT Recommend for any sales organization, as you'd just be throwing sales down the drain. Calls go straight to a screening process or go straight to voicemail and never get returned. It's junk, complete JUNK.

Fine platform but billing is either dishonest or broken.
Platform is good and I would have never thought of switching off but the billing is either dishonest or broken.
We were overcharged for 1 additional user 2 years in a row, and we had to go back and forth to get a refund.
In year 2 we lost all faith in AirCalls ability to charge us properly so we asked to be switched to monthly. they switched us to monthly after again a huge uphill battle but kept the annual payment as a "credit".
They refunded us for the 4th user then started charging us again for the 4th user off our "credit" but this time monthly...
None of this makes sense I hope somebody at AirCall reads this, makes it right for us and takes a deep look into the billing process and fixes it, this is not a good reason to be losing customers.

Happy, Until now
Many years of happy customer, until now. We have had a "cancellation" out of nowhere, it was ahead of our annual renewal. Suddenly all subscriptions gone, free tier only, SMS not working, phone calls not working. BTW the renewal was supposed to happen automatically, there were plenty funds in the bank, card active. No email of the "cancellation" or anything.
Anyhow, I thought somehow the system glitched few days ahead of the annual renewal. So I have paid for the annual subscription which enabled all services running again in a few hrs.
BUT, 2 days later, you charge us "again" for the annual subscription (over $5k). Ok, sh*t happens, so I go request to get the refund. Only that live chat/support is gone, customer success email also doesn't work anymore. The AI support is useless for this and keeps directing me to create a support ticket. Which I did, 9 DAYS ago, no response until now. I have submitted 2 more tickets now, if no-one responds to us by Monday, I am taking us to competition. This is ridiculous!!!

We started actively using the website a day ago, and the experience has been completely horrendous. At times, I am unable to find my own call and can not copy the call ID half of the time because the calls are disappearing! Fix the design as well as accessibility.

Working in customer support service
Working in customer support service, the web version user experience is absolutely awful. I'm wasting my time figuring out where all the buttons and call IDs are. Who designed this? Couldn't they just create something simpler and more useful?

Phonetic Alphabet
When a client is trying to spell out their email address, and the AI does not recognize the letters. It might help to have AI understand the phonetic alphabet. That way we could have our clients spell it out and give AI a better chance to understand it.

They had a security breach
They had a security breach. Someone used our account and they billed us $2000.
After months of arguing back and forth, they gave us a "goodwill credit" towards our account instead of a refund.
Even before that their service and system is terrible and I was planning to switch despite of the high costs.

A few issues
A few issues. very rigid syste, which odes not have a function PBX 20 years had like customs voicemail, out of office messages, ability to autforward calls. Interfece for managing the calls is very clunky and cluttered. Agin older PBX were much more simple and clear. Finally often quality issues even with good internet

Terrible Onboarding + Poor Customer Service
I have been a customer with Aircall since January and have experienced the most significant challenges throughout my time with the platform. The onboarding process was poorly structured, non-existent, and confusing, with unclear documentation and delayed responses to my initial setup questions that prevented my team from getting operational efficiently until March. Beyond that, the support experience has been frustrating. When I escalated my concerns, the responses were slow, explanations were unclear, and the solutions offered did not adequately resolve the underlying issues. Our escalations Manager was one of the most unprofessional individuals I've worked with at a vendor and poorly represents the customer service at the company. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously, and it took multiple follow-ups over an extended period just to get minimal assistance. The lack of clear communication and accountability from the support team made an already difficult situation worse. Overall, this experience has significantly impacted our ability to use Aircall effectively and has cost us valuable time and productivity. We will not be renewing our contract. If there was a 0 stars I would choose it.

Reliable Support with Improving Call Quality
We’ve had a generally positive experience with Aircall. One of the standout aspects has been their customer service—responsive, helpful, and quick to address issues when they arise. It’s clear they prioritize supporting their customers, which has made a real difference for our team.
That said, we have experienced occasional call quality issues reported by some of our users. While this has been a drawback at times, it does seem like improvements are being made, and the overall reliability has been trending in the right direction.
Overall, Aircall has been a solid solution for our needs, especially with the strong support backing it up, and we’re encouraged by the continued improvements.
