Do not travel with Air Lingus.

Do not travel with Air Lingus.

I am close to missing my dad’s funeral due to their system’s problem. The offshore team bearly understand English. No call backs or help from the directors. Bad communication between managers bterbal teams.

Shocking company

Shocking company. Delayed at Dublin for over 3 hours because they ran out of crew. No info, no apology. Last flight with this bunch of cowboys.

Ridiculous charges for cat transport

Although I was always satisfied flying with Air Lingus I was dissatisfied today. We have to transport a cat from Cork to London. First of all nowhere on the webpage it says that this is only possible from Dublin and secondly Air Lingus sent us a quote about 757€ to transport the cat in our own box in hold and 850€ if we would need a suitable carriage box. It’s absolutely ridiculous and really wonder how they justify this.

Undoubtedly one of the worst airlines…

Undoubtedly one of the worst airlines in Europe. Constant delays which they always blame on weather, zero customer care, zero customer service, atrocious customer treatment on planes when there is delays, zero respect for passengers baggage, zero interest in assisting customer's who had bad experiences. They were once something ireland could be proud of, now they are a shambolic pathetic joke of an airline which is embarrassment to the country. AVOID AER LINGUS LIKE YOU WOULD AVOID THE BUBONIC PLAGUE

Lost buggy & delayed flights

Flight to and from our holidays in Marseille France were delayed - left sitting on the tarmac for 1 hr with no use of toilets, far from ideal with a newly toilet trained toddler.
This is my 4th flight with Aer lingus in 2 months and all have been delayed for 1 hr +
When we arrived in Marseilles Aerlingus had lost our buggy, this severely restricted our holiday - 16 days later they have still not found it.

Think I’ll be opting for Ryanair next time

Exceptional service.

Was supposed to fly from Dublin to Heathrow but a storm there would not allow us to take off. The pilot announced that it would be minimum 4 hours before he would receive a clearance. He gave us the option to stay onboard or deplane before the doors were closed. I took a chance on getting a later flight and deplaned. Aerlingus booked me on the next available flight at no charge. And because all flights were full and had to go the next morning, they offered a full refund if I couldn't travel. Excellent service!! Wish more airlines had customer friendly policies.

Questionable Aer Lingus Review

After many bad experiences with Aer Lingus over the years I have given up on this airline.

I do not understand why Trust Pilot allows the above four star,and only review of aerlinguscom when Aer Lingus one star reviews rates 81%. Surely this is not giving a true rating
