Airport hopper disaster

I have booked an Airport Hooper bus journey for today 10/02/25 at 2:20pm departing from Lucas Adamstown junction to Dublin Airport. I was at the bus stop for over half an hour in the cold and rain and the Airport Hopper bus never turned up. I had then to rush in to call an Uber in order to not miss my flight. The Airport Hopper bus proves to be not only unrealiable but also disrespectful to customers. I will make sure I will write as many complaints as possible regarding this miserable episode. A business with this kind of poorly quality service should never be allowed to serve in society or exist. Ireland and irish people deserve better.

REPORT to the National Transport Authority - Disgusting service

BUS DID NOT SHOW UP. Clayton/Clarion Hotel Liffey Valley. I am reporting this company to the NTA. They did not show up for collection. Refused to give me a refund. I went to the hotel to have CCTV checked, No bus showed up. Hotel are sick of the amount of complaints about them. They are ignoring me and the hotel, in their efforts not to refund, offered me a credit note for a non existent service!! Looked at the reviews 'they do this a lot' weekly by the looks of things.. 67% of 1 star reviews all saying the same thing. Then say the route was serviced so they don't have to refund you. I will be complaining to the National Transport Authority that gives them the licence to do this. If they do it to you put a complaint in infoatairporthopper.ie and NTA and make sure to leave a review for the next person. This is a disgrace they have gotten away with this for so long... Its my opinion they should be shut down. How many peoples money do they still have that they are not entitled to?????

Never Again.

After an 11hr flight I waited in the very cold wind for almost 2 hours at Heathrow T3 for a bus to the Sheraton hotel. Unfortunately I’d paid in advance.

I rang the number 07815 110078 3 times. I was told by the first 2 operators that the bus would be there in a few minutes, but it never appeared. The 3rd operator was very helpful. He checked what was happening and rang me back to say the bus was at terminal 2 and would arrive in a minute. I was then able to tell the others waiting including an American couple who had been waiting with a baby! What a terrible impression they will now have of services in the uk.

I wrote to the company but have not had a reply.

Airport Scammers

Booked bus, paid online. Waited 70 minutes at bus stop but no bus came. Called the customer help number on the bus stop. (0860234620) The number does not exist.
Had to get taxi. Luckily my flight was delayed. If not I would have missed it. Contact customer service. Pure waste of time. No customer service worth talking about.

Good experience from the past 9 years

I used the Tallaght-Airport service several times in the past 9 years. Sometimes they late but I think it is because of the traffic. Last time I had especially good experience. The driver, Alan was super helpful and friendly. At the airport coach station he asked the people who were waiting for Airport Hopper, he helped passengers to find their stop, the best way to home... and we had a nice chat about Ireland and Central Europe. :)

DO NOT USE THE AIRPORT HOPPER

Booked a return ticket. No sign of the 11:50 Maynooth bus at parking 16 at Dublin airport. We were there 11:40. The airport hopper for Tallaght came, said the Maynooth bus had gone. Turns out he was driving a Spain Hire white bus, not the red hopper bus. How is a customer supposed to know that?

Return bus was also a white Spain hire bus. Driver told us he would be waiting at the Clayton hotel 20 minutes as he had to pick up people from the Tallaght bus. Seems one of their buses was off the road and that left just two of them. Hardly a fleet. A lady on our bus got off to get a taxi as she was in a hurry. The driver had been messing with the engine prior to leaving. We got as far as Tesco Maynooth, having cut out three times and he gave up. I got a C3 to heuston station then a Dublin express - much better service, comfort and professionalism.

The airport hopper have no customer service. No replies to calls or emails.

Incredibly poor service

Incredibly poor service. 2 out of 3 bookings, the bus didn't arrive at the scheduled time. Customer service is basically non-existent, no refund offered, response time is very slow. First bus didn't come at all after 45 minutes waiting, second bus arrived more than 7 minutes before the scheduled time. The one service that ran okay was fine, but too risky to use for airport travel.
