You made it easy and affordable
You made it easy and affordable. We are elderly and really struggle to lift our luggage on and off trains to the airport. The booking process was very clear and easy. The fact that you kept us informed and we knew where our luggage was at all times was a great comfort. Your pick up times were great as we don’t always book far ahead so getting our bags picked with short notice was brilliant. Your pick up person was efficient and pleasant and found us even though we were in a small flat in Peckham. The biggest plus is that you made our journey stress free’ unfortunately our flight was turned back and we had to stay overnight in Gatwick that was not your fault fortunately we had brilliant assistance from EasyJet but thanks for your help we will use you whenever possible Laurraine

MY RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH AIRPORTR
I have been using Airportr for some time now and I have noticed a steady improvement in your services especially in providing a tracking service on the driver that comes for pick up.
The Driver came to pick my bags in time, checked-in my bag and notified me in time. This makes my trip to the airport very convenient.

Confusion over collection time
Confusion over collection time. Driver requested if we would like the collection earlier, we responded that was suitable but because we didn't see the message until 15 minutes after it was sent it caused confusion because we didn't get an acknowledgement from the driver.

This service started off brilliantly
This service started off brilliantly. Now they arrive either very early for the time slot or run late and charge extra per case. I pay extra for the one hour time slot so I expect them to be on time. In May they arrived 20 mins early and I wasn’t even at home yet. Before they collected up to the maximum allowed in the class booked and charged one flat rate. Be careful when booking as I was charged a penalty of over £10 last night as I hadn’t booked the second case. They didn’t even tell me they were charging until after they left with the case.

Occasionally, if our drivers are running ahead of schedule, we may request to complete an early collection. Apologies. I completely understand how that can catch you off guard when you're working around a specific schedule!
We'll only ever send an early-collection request if we anticipate it may help other collections to stay on schedule as the day progresses. For example, collecting a booking 10 minutes early in the morning can help offset 10 minutes of unforeseen traffic later in the day. I hope this makes sense.
For full transparency, we do not expect our customers to agree to an early collection as a matter of course. We provide the option of an early-collection taking place, but we're fully prepared for the early-collection request to be declined. We absolutely appreciate an early-collection won't work for all customers when requested.
To summarise: early-collections requests are entirely optional, and we are always 100% prepared for you to say no if the timing doesn't suit your plans. Your schedule always comes first.
Regarding our pricing, Airportr has always operated on a "per-item" basis rather than a single flat rate. Each time a customer increases the number of items they wish to send with us, the cost of the service will increase slightly. When placing a booking with us online, our customers are asked to list the number of items they will be sending. If our driver arrives to your collection and there is an additional item that has not been declared during the booking, we do have to apply a charge to add it to the trip. I hope that makes sense.
I really hope this information is useful and addresses your concerns for a future booking. Thanks so much for sharing your feedback with us.

Honestly what a great service from pick up at my home to collection in France! It meant I didn't have to carry my skis on th London underground and they were there waiting for me in France! Highly recommend!
