Cancelled order and no communication.

Order was cancelled due to 'the site not charging VAT on the purchase' - we have since noticed that the items we ordered have doubled in price- so highly doubt anything to do with VAT. We were sent the most vague email to advise that the order was cancelled which left us guessing. Tried to contact the store to query - spoke to someone very abrupt and borderline rude. After a week and half of no refund, I tried to call again with no answer / response to my voicemail. Our refund took over two weeks to be paid. Little to no communication from the store, won't purchase from here again.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused but if the site does not charge VAT/the correct price, we couldn't possibly fulfil your order. Our site was undergoing maintenance at the time and we explained this to you via email and over the telephone, both times in a business manner, not rudely. Once noticed you were promptly refunded. We advised you up to 10 working days for a refund depending on your card issuers processing time.
