Jon and his team were fantastic. Jon explained everything that would be happening and broke this down for us. His team were always on time, polite and professional. We felt we were in safe hands and would highly recommend A.J JOINERY in fact we already have to our friends.

Jon and his team were superb from start to finish. The job involved lots of non-standard details including a floating vanity unit, shadow gaps and a unique balustrade made from heavy duty restraint straps.

As an architect, I have an eye for detail and Jon's team delivered things that I was not sure were possible (such as the fully gravity-defying vanity unit), and suggested details that I had not thought of. The team were careful to check with me how I wanted things to align and appear.

The team arrived promptly every morning. They were friendly, approachable, tidy and courteous.

Pete, one of Jon's top joiners was the most hand-on on the project. Thank you for everything, Pete! Your skills have transformed our home.

Tom has a real eye for detail. He know how I would want things aligned - vertical rad to match adjacent door height; pendant lights evenly distributed to follow the line of the stairs etc. and his vacuuming skills are better than many professional cleaners!

Jase, the electrician went through the electrical layout with me carefully and asked relevant questions to ensure I was happy with the decisions made. I would say, this lighting is one of the most successful parts of the scheme. It really makes the design shine!

And finally, Jon. Whenever I ask as question about whether something can be done, the answer is "yes, we can!" It's an absolute pleasure to work with "can-do" contractors who take pride in their work.

The completed project is a delight to live in. I will struggle to be impressed by the bathroom facilities in any 5* hotel from now on.

Jon and his team did a great job with our garage conversion into an extra bedroom and new study. They were punctual and provided good communication about the work that needed to be done so that we could plan ahead with our young family and our work. Highly recommended.

AJ Joinery and building have done numerous jobs around the house and the professionalism and quality of work is always to a very high standard. When we decided on having an Orangery built, which was a huge investment, there was only one company we intended to use. We waited for over 12 months until Jon and his team were available. The attention to detail as we have come to expect, was meticulous throughout the whole project. The finished Orangery looks stunning both externally and internally. You are kept informed of progress and AJ Joinery made sure everthing was in place for the building inspector to see and verify at all times during the works. As with all projects, it is the after care, which is also important. AJ Joinery have sorted out some minor snags extremely quickly. I would highly recommend AJ Joinery for this type of work.

Jon had fantastic communication from the start, making the process seamless and stress-free.

As a 'mature' lady about to embark on a building project, I needed a reliable company that would advise and nurture me through the process, and deliver good quality workmanship.
AJ Joinery were able to do this.

Communication between myself, Jon and his team has been excellent.
Each section of the project moved seamlessly along - the workmen and supplies being there at the appropriate time.
There is a high standard of workmanship.
The team were punctual, polite and very hardworking.
Always leaving the site tidy and secure at the end of the shift.
They were able to offer advice when required, and usually found solutions to problems if they arose.
The Suppliers used for the building materials ect. were also of a good standard.

The time frame for the completed work was exactly as had been quoted.

I am extremely pleased with the conversion of the garage to a shower room, utility and storage area.

I would have no hesitation in recommending AJ Joinery for any building projects.

Brilliant advice, service & extension. AJ Joinery were very clear about the project and time expectations and a bonus was they were super tidy causing as little disruption as possible. We would and have recommended the team to anyone.

AJ Joinery came to us after recommendations and our extension was slightly non-traditional (single pitch with a lot of glass) so needed a good builder - I am also an architect and a perfectionist (so probably a nightmare client for any builder!!).

After a relatively short 6 month wait to start, the quality of build was exceptional and Jon was easy to communicate with on both the design and financial aspects of the project.

Timescales were stretched a lot at the end of the project, but this was largely down to post-covid materials shortages (which is now gratefully behind us) - however you kind of expect this with domestic builders. That said, the wait was worth it.

We have a quality building which performs superbly well and if I had another building project I would definitely be talking to AJ Joinery.

A fantastic service from start to finish. Jon’s organisation and project management were commendable, and he and his team were a joy to have on site. They were efficient, professional and hard working, and we are all extremely happy with the end result. We hope to work with Jon again in the near future on our next building project, and look forward to welcoming the team back.

The whole project was well managed and controlled by Jon from start to finish with the roofer, plumbers, plasterers, decorators etc all programmed in with the project timescale. Jon and his whole team were professional and friendly at all times and, as the main body of work was on the first floor, they took great care to respect the ground floor that I was living in. They shielded off the staircase so that the dirt and dust did not penetrate downwards. Jon dealt with the inspection visits from Cheshire East and advised on furnishings and even designed and built me a corner computer desk to fit in with landing layout. The main body of work was undertaken and completed between June and September 2021 but other additional work was undertaken and completed by early 2022. I can't recommend A J Joinery highly enough, I had been dreading the whole thing but Jon and his team made it quite an enjoyable experience!!!

Jon and the team did an exceptional job building our extension. I had an idea and it came to life exactly how I wished. Jon was extremely helpful along the way providing ideas and advice, giving us choices to accommodate our budget. I would highly recommend- they are very reliable and friendly.

Worked started on the 24/05/2017 - finished in July 2017. Jon and his team completed our extension work to a very high standard, efficiently and kept me well informed through the process.
Jon completed the front extensions on Autumn 2018.
As Jon wasn't on Trustpilot at the time I've only just been able to give him a review :-).
