Pretty perfect slim cover for the rigors of city everyday carry. It’s just enough to not think about the usual bumps and scrapes, and the black fades in with the case. A bit of texture gives it utilitarian feel, opposite most of the leather half cases. Comes off in a half second but stays on even when biking over cobblestone. Pretty perfect really for what it is.

The Leica M Mount Lens Precision 6-Bit Encoder is a great tool. I have coded 2 Voigtländer lenses without any problems.

Good tool, clear instructions. Now my Voigtländer 21/3.5 and 90/2.8 are no longer mystery lenses in Lightroom.

Leica lens index coding template and pens worked great. Simple and easy to use. Have not had to reapply ink yet.

Excellent product and Service!!

Being able to add the 6 bit Leica code to older lenses or lenses from other producers is a big step to ease of use and peace of mind.

I advise the product for anybody using a Leica M camera that reads the 6 bit codes.

Item does what it is made for, included manual helpful, necessary pens included, price is adequate, package good, delivery fast, nothing left to wish. Clearly 5 stars.

Just works perfectly - makes such a difference

Firstly, the first order I made didn't arrive because of some trouble with my DHL person. So I contacted Akara-Labs, and they sent a second unit to me right away. They knew of the problems with the German postal service. When it arrived, it worked perfectly, and I coded my lenses all at once. It was nice that the package contained a list with the corresponding Leica and Voigtländer or Zeiss lenses.
The one flaw I might have discovered for me is, that now that I have coded my lenses, the tool is mostly useless. I mean, I probably need to do it again in the future, but for now, it's just collecting dust on my desk.

But it's a well-made tool, and I would recommend it to everyone who wants to use its third-party lenses without having to change the lenses in the camera all the time.

The lens coder worked very well, my Leica M240 and M262 read my now 6-bit coded lens perfectly. The only problem was the black pen provided did not fit into the stencil cut-out and eventually the pen tip became useless.
