Censored and banned because I reported a bug.
I reported a bug because their recurring invoice system created a few dozen invoices. I then got censored and banned from the Mattermost chat software, so I created a forum account and got banned, so I asked them on Twitter and got blocked, so I asked them on GitHub and got censored too.
I never heard anything from them, and they won't reply to anything, just delete them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
It's a scam, crippled base functionality
To echo the previous reviews, avoid this software. It looks great on the surface, clean interface, open source double entry accounting software. However, installation is a disaster, there are so many bugs. It took me 2 weeks to finally get the software working, only to find out that double entry accounting is a $70 add-on. I'm not sure how anyone can use the software to manage small business accounts without the abiliity to track assets and liabilities.
It's clear from the forum posts that the devs are not interested in offering support, so the whole thing feels a bit scammy. Shame, because I probably would have used the app and purchased add ons if the base functionality hadn't been so crippled

never seen such tricky open source project, If you try to install it, you will find out what I am saying. in .htaccess, one line deleted, you cannot go through, got 500 internal error, then it is the database error. you can smell how greedy, smelly behind the this project.

Terrible customer service and buggy website.
Cancelled it last year, didnt get any feed back after cancelling. Didn't think about it too much as I was going bust due to covid. Haven't logged in since Aug 2020 and they should be able to see that, they auto billed me as the buggy website did not register the cancellation.....or did it...they wont refund me, feed me a load of garbage....avoid these guys everyone.
They also closed my tickets on the issue, the issue caused by them not cancelling when I did last year, stating terms and conditions. I am well aware of the terms and conditions, but your website is so crap it didnt cancel the first time. So, I am on to my credit card to try and do something about it, probably won't get anywhere. So, be vigilant folks, if you cancel with these guys, keep checking repeatedly to make sure, as I am certain I am not the only person they stiffed for another £156 when they should not have.

Seemed great on first impression. As a developer who uses the underlying technologies (Laravel, Vue, Mysql) I know they are robust and I am well placed to adapt it to my needs. I set about adding features like an icon to show entries with attached receipts (so I can be sure that all of my transactions have supporting paperwork).
I then noticed that adding an invoice didn't show in the dashboard... or any reports... The dates displayed for this year were wrong (it showed last year instead). Current quarter and current year and were showing last years data. This worried me, but a quick debug later and I had fixed the date issue.
I then ran an update and various things on the site broke (without my changes) so I rolled back to the previous version.
The final straw was when I went to import transactions - I set up my excel file exactly as specified, pressed upload, and... nothing. No entries were added and I got no feedback. I gave up at this point and am now looking at GnuCash which I have used for years for my personal accounts. If that isn't up to running a business I will continue to pay Xero an outrageous amount of cash for their services, which are at least reliable and trustworthy - if overpriced (and rising).
Some technical notes about the software itself: There are a lot of 500 server errors where the code simply falls over itself. These can be expanded into actual error messages if you enable debugging, and I was able to do some digging. There are sections of the base code that just don't work, they need removing for the site to function.
The database has no relationships set between any of the data (eg, customer row linked to invoice rows; invoice row linked to transaction). This is a basic requirement of any website, as it ensures data is structurally sound, as the database knows how it should fit together, and will throw an error if something unexpected is attempted, this is completely absent and one coding error could corrupt any part of the database.
On the plus side, the code is nice, page templates are efficient, but it's written with fast coding speed in mind and without any of the usual hardening you would put into a standard commercial website, let alone a financial one.
It's also painfully slow! Delete your API key (in the database settings table) and it will run ok again.
I'm moving on, and thanking my lucky stars I didn't pay for any apps!

We spent about 400 Euros on plugins and basically wasted our money.
After each update something broke. We were 3 months late to submit our tax info to the tax office because of this awful software.
The support is just bad. They reply at the best case in 3 days and they do not care if your website is down.
And no refund exist. We request for refund and they reply after 4 days that they are sorry and they would like to solve our problem and they do not refund.

My first ticket support was answered in one week, but the bug was not fixed and service simply does not work for me. After I ask about a refund all my 3 tickets was closed without any reply. Im try to point some attention in twitter but they simply block me. This is a scam company, stay away from them.
