Very disappointed and with so many bad reviews I cannot understand why B&Q entertain them.
Order had not arrived after 3 weeks even though I received an email saying product had been delivered and requesting feedback. When I queried the delivery, no apology given and I was told that the product was out of stock. Why did they not point this out when I initially ordered and paid? Chased again and told there would probably be a wait and best to have a refund. Very disappointed. Many low reviews recently make me wonder if this business has expanded quickly (B&Q) or is it just plain bad service! 1 star given for speedy refund
I have updated my original review because order has been received. I also received a response to my query via the B&Q website. The only downside I found was the lack of communication on delivery. I didn’t receive any notification on tracking, so I was out when it was delivered and no note/email was provided. It had been left behind my wheelie bin, which I wasn’t aware of until AK Frames responded to my message. The mounts I ordered were just as advertised, so no problem there.
Confused as to what all the bad reviews are about🤣 ordered a frame from them from B&Q 3 days ago, arrived on time in perfect condition literally have nothing bad to say :)
I would give this company -10 stars if possible. Its now 6 weeks since I have been trying to get over £1000 of frames collected and refunded. Hours and hours of phonecalls, left voicemails, texts and zero replies or progress. B&Q are involved and now being equally as useless. The frames were supposed to be delivered for a specific date, to be loaded onto a truck that was leaving the UK for an event. I had received no note of the delivery by the delivery date so I called them, the guy answered and said that DHL hadn't collected as agreed so they wouldn't be delivered by this date. I asked for the order to be cancelled, he said he would try and organise this and call me back. No call back. I chased for a week, no answer until the following week, in the meantime we had been postponing the delivery date so no order was delivered, to allow him to revert the parcel back to theirs. When I finally spoke to him again he advised that he couldn't revert the parcel, but if we accepted the delivery he would then arrange a free collection for them to go back to theirs for a refund. Since then I have rung around 100 times, left multiple voicemails, sent texts, emails and they have disappeared - they are even cancelling my calls when I ring!
I will continue to try with B&Q, if not we will have to take further legal action. Read the other reviews....it seems to be a common trend
Shocking. Bought a frame through this company via B&Q marketplace. Arrived weeks later, after much chasing and no response. Broken. I get in touch, chase (again) and 3 weeks later a replacement arrives but not before 4 emails are ignored. Will never use them again and certainly wouldn’t recommend.
The item arrived damaged as it wasn't packaged properly now it's too late to get a replacement in time for Christmas absolutely pathetic service AVOID
I ordered a 70x70cm frame from AK Frames via B&Q. After a few days, delivery hadn’t happened, so I checked the reviews here and was dismayed to find a few negative ones. I phoned the company to find out, and was answered immediately by a lovely man who apologised. He explained that they were low on stock due to Black Friday, but a shipment of their materials was expected, and that he would ensure my order was prioritised. I received my frame within the new expected timescale and couldn’t be happier. Next time I’ll order directly from the company. Having a friendly voice at the other end of the phone made all the difference.
This company is just woeful. Whomever works here, if taking three days only to respond to emails with lies and excuses can be categorised as working, should be utterly ashamed of themselves. My order has been in dispute for a month now. No sign of resolution. I ordered through B&Q and have asked them to step in. They (B&Q) have stopped replying to my emails. Please save yourself the hassle that I have (and it isn't resolved yet) and go nowhere near this company.
Ordered 8 frames on 15th Nov through B&Q. Was informed I would receive the items by 20th. Tracking number that AK Frames provided was invalid so contacted them through B&Q. After numerous messaging back & forth, and emailing AK Frames directly, I finally got told that it was a “courier” error and that they would send out replacements. Asked them for the tracking number for those items and was given the same number they gave me for my original order! Have called and left messages on the mobile number they display on their website - no one ever answers it or replies. I’ve been constantly chasing them and continually getting no reply or fobbed off. I have processed a chargeback through my bank to get my money back. Would never order through this company again, and I can see from other reviews that this is quite a common occurrence. AVOID.
Do not use this company. I’ve been waiting over a month for a frame replacement that arrived broken. I’ve had to constantly chase them for a refund. Communication is terrible, and customer service is unhelpful. Avoid at all costs — this company feels like a total scam.
Terrible 8 days in no frame offering to send half of what I ordered told them to cancel and refund still waiting, do not recommend
Quick and effortless ordering process. We ordered a large A0 gold frame, unfortunately this was damaged during transit. After notifying the company, they quickly dispatched a replacement which arrived promptly (and in perfect condition). Many thanks
What a great experience I have had ordering a bespoke frame from A K frames on eBay.
Communication was exceptional after my initial query as to whether they could make a frame in a specific size.
They said yes straight away and explained the costs and why they would be a little higher than normal which was explained to me in detail and understandable.
So I accepted these costs and placed my order which was easy to do as they made a special purchase on their order page especially for me to use.
It was so easy to place my order and pay and throughout the process they communicated really really well and it was very personal and efficient.
My bespoke frame arrived 4 days after initial order in suitable packaging & by a courier service that it was dispatched with.
They were great too I might add.
The frame arrived 2 days early also. So really quick too.
My picture looks fabulous in its new frame and I am so so happy with the whole experience of using akframes they have been brilliant.
I definitely will be using them again in the future as this purchase was so smooth and easy.
They were great as is our new frame.
