Solve a maths problem, shake the phone, scan a barcode in the bathroom. They work, and everyone hates them. We went the other way: you get up because you are curious what today sounds like. Here is how it works. The app reads the day ahead from the calendar on your phone, picks up what you did not finish yesterday, and asks you once what music you like. Overnight it writes and records a song about that day. By the time the alarm goes off, the track is already on your phone — your ten o'clock meeting singing about itself, the gym you keep postponing, the birthday you almost forgot. The song plays from your phone, not from our servers, so the alarm rings even with no internet at all. If a song could not be written, a wordless backup track rings instead. An alarm that stays silent is the one thing we will not ship. You choose the style and the language. Songs you love can be kept; the rest clear out on their own. No account is required to wake up.
