As a long-term customer of Alabaster, I recently had my first negative experience with the company. Beverly restored my relationship with the company completely and was incredibly kind and humble the entire time. Alabaster hired the right person through and through — we need more of her in the world!
To be specific: I was charged for shipping that they were unable to fulfill, due to them having to backorder the product after I placed my order. I ordered it for my friend’s birthday and it did not arrive in time. They originally offered me a 15% refund, which was only half of the shipping cost. That same day, they refunded me the entire shipping cost and humbly apologized for the inconvenience.
This is something they didn’t have to do, but decided to focus on customer retainment instead of only acquisition. In other words, they made me feel valued and a part of their family of long-term customers. This is invaluable with growing businesses, such as Alabaster.
With the high standards and ethics that Alabaster operates from, I will continue to recommend and purchase gifts for all my friends and family. May God continue to bless them and their team in all their efforts.
