We've just had 5 new internal oak doors installed by this company. This was on the recommendation of one of our friends. We were not disappointed at all - from start to finish the whole process has been smooth and very efficient. It started with Greg coming out to look at the work we wanted and then getting a quote for the works. Greg submitted the quote quickly and has since communicated to us at all times. We had to change the completion of the works and split this into two jobs - this was not an issue for them and they have always been supportive, nothing has been too much trouble. So the first works were started this week - they arrived on time and Greg was there to check and confirm the works to be done. The two guys who completed the works did so speedily and efficient. They simply got on with the works without any fuss or issues. Once again nothing was too much trouble for these two guys. They are definitely an asset to this business - polite and courteous. The works have been completed to an extremely high standard and we are so pleased with our 5 new doors.

Alderson did a great job converting our garage into a room. All of the work was carried out to an excellent standard. What really impressed us was how thoughtful the contractors were about ensuring everything was done to a high standard and in line with our needs. Greg the managing director was excellent at advising us and answering our questions. This helped ensure we were very happy with the end result. We had a number of quotes and found Alderson to be excellent value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again in future or recommend them to friends and family. We followed a recommendation from some friends that had used Alderson Builders in the past.
We were delighted to ask them to quote for the removal of a block wall, New flooring on most of the ground floor. In addition to the building work Plastering, Plumbing, Electrical and joinery workwere all required.
The work was carried out with little mess in a very co-ordinated program of the different trades over a 2 week period. Our house was always left tidy at the end of a working day
We are very happy with the outcome. The communication prior and post jobs was excellent and a special mention to Chris who kept it all together and running sweetly.
Everyone that was involved was both professional and skilled.
I have no issue recommending Aldersons for providing the whole building experience.

Aldersons built a beautiful garden wall for us during Summer 25. They advised on the materials including such details as the color of the mortar to ensure it was appropriately matched to the house. Their bricklayers, took pride in their work.
The project was also completed to budget.

I had 2 extensions built and am so pleased at the results. The build was well planned from the start and I was informed at every phase about what was to happen. The guys on site were great and very respectful. If I had any queries or problems, they were dealt with immediately. Worth every penny and I'd recommend them highly.

Alderson Buikding Services have just carried out work to install new bifold doors in our living room and kitchen. They made a brilliant job, carried out the work on time and to budget, and Matty and Craig were fantastic! Their craftsmanship was of the highest standard, they were a pleasure to have in the house and all they needed was lots of cups of tea!!

Greg, Daniel and Chris provided a top service when converting my garage to a room. Excellent communication with work completed as first discussed. Kevin who did the building work did a Sterling job and kept me up to date with all the timetable. So pleased with the work. Thankyou.

Greg and the team guided me through having a dining room and kitchen made into one and fitted a new kitchen. They were very professional arrived on time kept me up to date with progress even when I wasn’t able to be around. I am well pleased with the work that was done and it has been admired by many.
I subsequently have had a new front door and canopy fitted again the work was done on time and to a high standard. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Excellent service from design to completion. Honest detailed estimates , adherence to time scale and budget. Quality workmanship overseen by an excellent Operations Director who is highly proficient and customer focused both during the building work and after care services. All tradesmen are highly skilled and very responsive to customers needs and requests.

Greg and his team did a great job and we were briefed throughout so we pretty much knew what to expect. The workforce went out of their way to make sure we were happy with each stage of the work even when some snags were encountered.

We needed significant repairs after subsidence. Alderson’s did a great job - extremely trustworthy and reliable, and work that was to a very high standard. Regular discussions through the whole process. A very fair price. Would definitely use again.

We've used Aldersons over many years for jobs big and small. In every case we've had superb personal service and the work is to a high standard. They will never be the cheapest but the reliability is well worth it in my opinion. The team that work for Greg are all proud and keen to uphold the firm's reputation.

Greg and his team fitted my Howdens kitchen and did a great job. I use Aldersons for most of my home improvements as they are so reliable and professional. I definitely recommend them.

We used Aldersons to knock through a wall and fit a new kitchen in our property. Greg was extremely professional and very responsive, guiding us through all regulations required before the work was started.

Workmen turned up when expected and in the right order, for a complicated job. The final work was checked by the supervisor to ensure everything was done to order. I am very satisfied with the outcome.
Sometimes communication between us could have been a bit better where I needed to phone Aldersons to check who was coming on which day of the week, and the job took a little longer than anticipated. I also had to make some quick decisions about equipment and would have preferred a little more notice to be sure of my choices.

We first used Aldersons for a 2 bedroom extension 8 years ago and did not hesitate in choosing them again when we wanted to convert a very tired old kitchen and dining room into one fabulous space. We knew combining all the different workmen would be a challenge, but every single one did a great job and liaison between them worked well. Top quality work as always done by competent, friendly people.

Having used Aldersons in the past for a major extension, we were pleased that they were able to help us out with a smaller project to replace two lintels. The work was completed on time and to specification, with any changes advised to us in a timely and professional manner. Although work was required indoors, premises were kept tidy and clean. Would recommend to others.

The bottom section of our wooden double glazed sash window was mended beautifully. As previously a neat and tidy job.
