We started using Aleck Associates in the Summer of 2016 and dealt with a lovely guy called Joel. All was running smoothly until he left the company for which reason I do not know and then our account was passed over to the owner Stephen Aleck.
This was when everything went downhill.
We were granted planning permission in August 2016 with the project due to commence in Jan 2017. Between these times Stephen was on holiday for a few months so we had no point of contact. His workload was clearly too much for him because of staff shortages and we had to wait weeks for a simple answer to an email and he simply ignored various emails we sent to him too.
During various meetings in December and January Stephen Aleck was very rude, arrogant and unhelpful. He was always aware our project was due to start in January 2017. However we did not receive the structural drawings from him until the 16th February 2017 so by the time we ordered the steels we were almost at a two month delay because of his incompetence.
We were due to open on the 23rd March 2017 however we did not open until the 12th April 2017
If you have a time limit for work please do not use this company or you will definitely be at a loss of profits.
