I have attended Alex' group sessions for about 10 years, in person and on Zoom. Her classes are eclectic, creative and unique. They aim at helping you explore body movements and understand/learn how your body works through, for example, yoga, Pilates, mindfulness, meditation. I highly recommend her classes and more generally her work.
Alex guides you through her yoga classes helping you to understand the importance of every movement in relation to your breath and your mind. Her thoughtfully guided sessions are relaxing, yet you feel invigorated at the end...and each time you learn something new about how your mind and body relate to each other and the world around them!
Life changing experience. Alexandra reads your body and develop yoga practices that transform your body and your mind
Alex has been supporting me for 10+ years, initially for a rib injury sustained whilst skiing and then shiatsu ever since for lower back pain and general wellbeing. Alex supported me during lockdown in 2020 with yoga and movement practice whilst I was pregnant with a breach baby, significantly easing the discomfort. I now see Alex for treatment regularly through my company wellness scheme which is hugely valuable.
Alex is incredibly knowledgeable and calming and I very much look forward to our sessions.
I have been practising yoga with Alex now for over 8 years, before Covid in person and now on zoom. I always find Alex’s classes invigorating and different each time - so no complacency. Highly recommended.
So thanks Alex and look forward to next week.
I have been practising yoga with Alexandra Evans since my children (now grown up) were in primary school, and she is no doubt the best yoga teacher I have ever met.
Her classes keep me strong and relaxed, and help me to maintain my equilibrium both emotionally as well as physically.
I have learned the importance of good breathing, and my lung capacity has increased immensely.
More recently with Alex, I have had success with shiatsu/cranio treatment for recurring headaches, which has been a huge relief! I recommend her highly.
Alex is an incredible healer - I have had a few shiatsu treatments with her over the last few years and I always leave feeling lighter and more aligned, both physically and mentally. Her awareness and understanding of what’s going on beneath the surface, and how that manifests physically is amazing. I’ve also been to a couple of amazing yoga workshops and would highly recommend Alex to anyone interested in both, even if you’re new!
I was nervous and slightly anxious about being on a yoga retreat, having not practiced yoga for a very long time. However, Alex immediately put me at ease - the sessions were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the yoga Nidra in the evenings. I learned a lot about myself, all thanks to Alex. And I am looking forward to going on retreat this summer.

I had an op in December and Alex has been helping me with my recovery. In the process she has also helped support my adrenals, which were struggling from working long hours for so many years, and has surprisingly also helped ease a very long term shoulder issue. She continues to balance my lower back and hips which have taken an impact post this surgery and has advised exercises to help too. Alex comes to my house and gives me a treatment at home, it's always a joy to see her. I'm looking forward to doing some pilates and yoga with her once I'm fully recovered.

Alex is an extraordinary teacher. I have weekly one to ones with her and I was very fortunate to participate in her Greek retreat on the island of Ithaca in July 2023. She has an uncanny talent for reading the human body and understanding the connection with the mind. She has helped me in so many physical and mental ways during the 3+ years that we have worked together. Shes knowledgeable, talented and great with people.

I have practiced yoga with Alex for almost 20 years, she even inspired me to train as a teacher myself! I have attended her classes in person and online and have also had one to one treatments and attended her amazing retreats. Alex is one of the rare people who combines expertise and knowledge with kindness, personality and a sense of humour. I always feel so much better after having worked with her and would recommend her to anyone.

I went to Alex for Shiatsu after an injury resulting in lasting pain. I got so much more - especially the broader holistic sensitivity to how my mind/body was interacting to maintain my pain in tightness. Through Alex’s treatment i learned so much about my body, and the release of pain. I recovered from the injury with Alex’s help after unsuccessfully trying mainstream medical model interventions. Thanks Alex!

I can’t recommend Alex highly enough.
I crawl to her class knackered and grumpy; but come away with my mind and body humming. It’s like I’ve been given back to myself.

I’ve seen Alex for remedial and relaxation massage treatment and I would wholeheartedly recommend her for either. Her combination of craniosacral and shiatsu was perfect when I was recovering from a herniated disc — she was knowledgeable, sensitive to my needs and was one of the few people who could actually help alleviate the excruciating pain. I’ve also had relaxing massage from her which was ideal at a time when I was under a lot of pressure at work — intuitive, holistic yet down to earth and effective! Recommend— 100 pc.
