Do not get a taxi in Portugal
Do not get a taxi in Portugal on the street the rob people make sure you get a uber only they use a card machine to rob you money and charger you more the it is my bill was £10 euros and they changer me £96 euros stay away from taxis on the streets

We were delayed at passport control…
We were delayed at passport control (1hr) but driver was there waiting.
Nice clean car, driver helped with luggage, he was polite and courteous at all times.
We had the same driver for return trip (4am) pick up and as before we had a hassle free trip back to airport.
Will definitely use company agsin

On time, great service and spacious cars…it’s a very short wait at the Faro terminal and not an issue…cars are clean and price is good…would use again…even booked our return at short notice

Timely and efficient service
Taxi arrived well on time and drove safely and efficiently to it destination. Maybe quite close to Cars in front at times on the motorway but that’s the Portuguese way!

Excellent service transporting 4 adults…
Excellent service transporting 4 adults and a toddler in our own minibus.
We had a short wait of no more than 10 minutes when we arrived at the meeting point as our flight was delayed and, understandably, our driver was waiting in a car park somewhere. All coordinated by the lovely staff waiting for us in the airport terminal. Our driver was very nice and mentioned some of the interesting spots we might like, but then drove very thoughtfully when our sleep deprived toddler fell asleep on the journey.
Several different child car seat options available so we were able to pick the most appropriate.
Mercedes minibus was very clean and well presented.
Return transfer was excellent, with the same driver who was prompt for our early pickup and got us to the airport in great time and comfort.
Would recommend and use Algarve Taxis again on our next visit.

Excellent transfer to Faro airport from Vale do Lobo. Driver was lovely and ensured we got to the airport safely with our 1 year old in a suitable child seat.

Dreadful! We loaded our luggage into the back of the six seater and left the driver to close the door. Upon arrival at our apartment complex one of our bags was missing!! Driver denied seeing the bag and was little help. The bag contained meds for the diabetic in our party. The company texted us with the number of the airport (which we already had) and that was the extent of their input. A terrible experience that the bag was either lost or stolen as we were boarding the mini bus and the driver happily took our money and left us to sort things out. Will never use again!!

First and foremost, thank you for your feedback, as we take all our reviews seriously in order to improve our service.
As to the reported situation, please note that after the luggage was loaded (by you) and immediately after the journey started, our driver noticed that the rear door was open, so he exited the vehicle and closed the door properly. He did not notice any bag falling out of the vehicle (which would be impossible to miss) and upon arrival he was confronted with the situation of the missing bag. Our operations manager was called, who promptly called the airport to know if they could spot the bag on the CCTV circuit live feed, but the bag was not seen either. The driver was instructed to go to the police station as soon as he arrived to the airport, to know if anything was reported in “Lost & Found”, but the bag was not there.
Our operations manager then texted you all relevant telephone numbers that could be of assistance solving this matter.
We pride ourselves on our costumer service and feel we went above and beyond what was our obligation in this particular case.
