Dishonest Merchant, Avoid This Scam!
I paid $2,500 for a virtual barber apprenticeship program from allaboutuapprenticeships.com, expecting to work toward my barber license. After payment, I received forms requiring a sponsor’s signature to start. My barbershop sponsor backed out, so I promptly emailed the merchant (using the same email we’d used before) to cancel. They ignored all my attempts to contact them for nearly two months, forcing me to dispute the charge with Affirm.
Only after the dispute did they respond, falsely claiming to Affirm that the sale was final and I agreed to terms stating no refunds. This was a lie—there were no terms on their website before purchase, and I never signed or agreed to the forms they sent post-payment. I provided Affirm with evidence, including emails and the unsigned forms, proving I never received any service and couldn’t use the program without a sponsor. Despite this, I lost the dispute and could’ve been stuck paying for a service that was never provided, but i’ll be disputing these payments with my bank.
This merchant’s dishonesty and refusal to communicate make it clear they’re running a scam. Their lack of transparency and fake “final sale” claims are unacceptable. I strongly advise against using allaboutuapprenticeships.com—save your money and avoid this nightmare.
