Dangerously unprofessional
Paid £1289 in total. £729 to the booking agency 'national intensive ltd' and £560 to Matthew Best from , All drivers academy, for an intensive course. Which was to include 17.5 hour of lessons ,the car on day of test, plus return travel home.
I received 14 hours of lessons, no car on the test day and no transport home. After waiting 6 months to sit my test, due to wait time. It was cancelled on the day, due to the instructors car tyres been worn past the thread and down to the cord. Matthew showed no care for other road users by driving away from the test centre with his tyres illegal that day. Potentially causing danger to other road users. I also had to find my own transport home . Matthew was abrupt about the situation. Noted and reported by the DVSA instructor .
Matthew believes a refund is not justified.
The state of the car throughout was filthy and very unprofessional.
The service I paid for was an intensive course to be sat just before my test took place. The service was not fulfilled and the lessons that were fulfilled, were fulfilled in an illegal car. Tyres worn past the thread and down to the cords.
Update 25/1/2026 , Matthew the driving instructor in question emailed me, threatening me with court action, if I did not remove my personal experience from trustpilot.
I have evidence to support everything I have stated to be true.
