Very poor experience - Cancellation is complicated

Very poor experience; the company makes it challenging to be able to cancel your subscription, and you get no notification of when you are going to be charged after your initial sign up. Also did not even have any of the books I was looking for. I do not recommend this service.

Scam.

Genuinely the worst audiobook subscription service I've come across. Firstly, they don't even allow you to browse their library unless you've opened an account. I did so, only to find t hey did not have the book I wanted to(a very popular and well known book, goes to show how laughably shite their selection is), so I tried to cancel my subscription. Couldn't find a way to do this online or on the app, so I messaged customer service who responded with the usual 'we're sorry to see you go, here's a long email begging you to stay'. Thankfully there was a link at the end to cancel properly, so I went ahead and used it. Four weeks later, I get billed $24.99. Contact customer service again, and this time they miraculously manage to cancel it from their end without me having to fill out some useless link, but conveniently they don't have a refund policy. I did not use their service one time. I've opened a case with PayPal and I've responded to their email to escalate this. Completely ridiculous, do not waste your time or money here.

Be warned that when attempting to…

Be warned that when attempting to cancel your subscription it isn’t easy to do so. Getting hyped up super fun messages from their support team wasn’t helpful. Links to cancel don’t work and i ended up paying for two months subscription that i didn’t want or use.

Complete and utter scam

Complete and utter scam. If you think that you are getting an alternative to Audible, Libro.Fm, Listening Books, Calibre Audio, etc, think again. You are not. All it is a website that has 'summaries' of books on it and then when you realize this, you have a hard time cancelling and closing the account because the link to cancel your membership is hidden somewhere deep in the terms and conditions small print. Even then, canceling the membership link is not easy because of how the website is designed. If you miss the fact that the link to cancel your membership is with in the terms and conditions small print, you try to contact them through an AI chatbot which does bugger all, or through the form on the contact page which also does nothing. There is a link to a review site which also looks like it's another scam which you have to pay to sign up for just to review it. I feel bad for disabled people who want access to audiobooks because they have eyesight problems because they will get scammed. The site should be blocked from search engines, or better yet, removed from the internet entirely.

This site is nothing but a scam

This site is nothing but a scam. I tried it once and the audiobooks that you get are the damn summaries to the book. Not the book. I have repeatedly contacted customer service for a refund and to remove my card or any subscription they have active for me, and they refuse to do so. I now have to replace my card because the customer service is absolute shit.

Terrible trying to cancel membership…

Terrible trying to cancel membership and subscription. Might have stayed if they were more transparent about it, but as it was, I started trying to cancel on the same day I joined. To cancel, go to the terms and conditions, copy the URL to cancel, and paste it directly into your browser. (Typing it yourself doesn't work). The cancel link is there on this page, but not highlighted. Good luck

If I Could Give 0 stars I Would!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is almost entirely summaries or "concise editions" of books. Every book I looked up, even old books were only summaries. The "Courses" were only "Learn How to Speak" type books. I tried to cancel and was told they would do it but did not provide me any cancellation number or any further information. This website seems dicey.
