Loved the audio option!

Affirming and Expansive Forest Wisdom
I’ve experienced shinrin-yoku in Japan and forest bathing in other parts of the world, so this course felt both affirming and expansive. Even though I live in a different ecosystem, learning about a wide range of trees and their healing qualities has directly informed the forest bathing experiences I offer in Hawaiʻi and how I choose forests to learn from as I travel. I’m grateful to AlmaOasis for making this training accessible online.

Almost booked a course, but was skeptic. Took a deep dive. The credit Videos of the community seemed very much written and read out loud. Scam check ranked it very high due to connection to Blacklist Pages and phishing, malware, Scamming etc.

Very informative and thorough lessons
So far the class has been a great read and I am happy to find that people are as passionate about honoring and cherishing Mother Earth as I am. I am only on Module 3 of the permaculture, my first course using your program but I will say it would help to have videos or pictures, especially to describe and give a visual for many of the terms used in zoning/ sector layout and water systems, etc. The reading is very clear and thorough to understand and all very interesting to me. I would just give feedback on making it more interactive with illustration and diagrams.

Lots of info, but not a good value for the price.
While the information provided is great and I've learned a lot, I don't feel it is value for the cost. Had I known the entire course was PDFs and quizzes, I probably would have gone a different direction. It would have been more engaging had their been videos to compliment the written material. It was also difficult to find the practical exercises and activities because they were buried in the text rather than in a separate module. Even having them as a separate PDF would have been helpful. I was also disappointed in the business section of the course as it was basically just "build a blog and social.media, or work for an institution." But, while it gave some good tips on building a new blog, there was no information on finding these "institutions". In conclusion, while I've learned a lot, I feel it could be a better experience than it's current form, and I likely would not recommend this course to others. If videos were added and the hands-on portions were more easily accessible and presented, I would give it a 5.

But we understand if it can feel too much at times! In fact, we find it’s helpful to print the material and head outside with it to truly feel the benefits of the forest.
