My experience with Almara Cabinets has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.
The wardrobe that was installed was defective, incomplete, and not fit for the space. During the installation, my wallpaper was also damaged.
After numerous discussions, Almara agreed to remove the wardrobe, refund the purchase price, compensate me for the damaged wallpaper, and make a goodwill payment. Despite these commitments, they failed to follow through. They did not attend the agreed appointment to remove the defective wardrobe, and the agreed payment was never made.
The repeated broken promises, missed appointments, and poor communication have completely eroded my confidence in the company. What should have been a straightforward resolution became months of unnecessary stress and frustration.
As a result, I have commenced proceedings through VCAT to seek a resolution.
Before making your decision, I’d encourage prospective customers to do their own research into the company’s history and ownership and read reviews from a range of sources before committing.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Almara Cabinets.
