MALPRACTICE / THEFT / PREYING ON VULNERABLE / MISADVERTISING

If it were possible, I would give no stars. Similar to others here, I ordered a hip therapy belt which was advertised on Facebook. Since then, here is what I've discovered:
1. The item that arrived is not the item that was advertised in terms of application or use. It is transparent that they have stock they want rid of and are using underhand tactics to offload to unsuspecting customers.
2. The only reviews (glowing) are on their website, the products are literally not reviewed anywhere else
3. Their customer services, whilst responsive and polite, could not tell me anything about the product.
4. Despite repeatedly asking for a prepaid return label, they would not tell me where to return the item and kept up the mantra of their return policy being that the customer pays return postage
5. I suspected, as evidence by a previous reviewer, that the return address is in China
6. I too have been given a 60% refund, and will sell the product myself, fully describing it - unlike the original company.
7. Clearly banking on the fact that UK Trades Descriptions has no authority over Chinese companies
DISGUSTING PRACTICE, ESPECIALLY WHEN APPEALING TO PEOPLE WHO ARE IN PAIN AND ARE HOPING TO BUY SOMETHING THAT WILL GIVE THEM RELIEF.
UNDERHAND, DISHONEST, INSULTING TO CUSTOMERS, TANTAMOUNT TO THEFT, STEER CLEAR AND PASS ON THE WORD

Chinese company avoid .

Chinese company avoid .. using a white recently retired orthopaedic consultant story .. which is absolute rubbish.. apparently he’s lied for over 31 years about hip replacements.. and this hip belt is the answer to all your problems.. they push the marketing story .. that you can pick up your grandchild up in 6 weeks with no pain ?? Really 🤔

Spurious consultant review

This company is heavily advertising hip therapy belts and using a long story supposedly written by a recently retired consultant whose name doesn't appear on the GMC register. It is owned by a Hong Kong company
