While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Alphaprep are SCAMMERS

Alphaprep are SCAMMERS! I cancelled my subscription to their services, and they continued to charge me for 6 months before I noticed the charges. They are NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

Out of date questions, useless

The CCNA questions are out of date, using an old syllabus, making the practice tests essentially useless. I don't understand why such a key part of the product is broken.

Also, I've found that a lot of the questions are misspelled, making the meaning unclear. Especially where they have misspelled key acronyms.

Generic in their emails

Generic in their emails. No name identification so you never know who you are speaking with. Slow to reply and when they do it is unprofessional at best. Cancelled a sub in October they happily charged me every month until January. Now this was in a second account that i rarely keep an eye on or put subs too. So when i went to make a transaction with this account i noticed a fresh 45 dollar charge from alphaprep. Confused i looked into it further to realize they had kept charging me after i cancelled. Long story short they denied the fact that i cancelled then said "hey we just cancelled it now". "Also no refunds.". Ok, after several polite emails asking them to consider the circumstances and the fact that i had already cancelled. I asked them to please refund the money to no avail. Well have fun with the chargebacks. Stay away from alphaprep.

Scammers, please be aware!

Please avoid Alpha Prep if you value your bank account, they will take your card details and run wild with making unauthorised transactions. They have charged me hundreds of dollars for things I should not of. I have tried contacting them via their only two methods of "support" which is chat and email and received no responses at all, their poor customer service is echoed all over Reddit and other networking forums.

They are modern online highwayman, after doing my research on Reddit with Alpha Prep this appears to be an extremely common practice and many many people have fallen victims to them taking unauthorised payments, I thought, maybe, they were a red herring but I fell victim to this too, hence me warning all on here. Also, their product is very poor, much better it is to use the likes of Boson software in combination with a Udemy Course and the Offical Cert guide books for your CCNA studies.
