Totally inflexible when I asked to change my flight (and transfer) for an urgent family matter. Impersonal customer service that doesn’t care about local and loyal customers living in the Alps!

Stranded
They moved my pick up time via email. This left me stranded!
Customer services said they text me, no text or refund received.
Customers not worth a phone call!
Poor communication and blaming their sub-contractor
Our transfer got delayed both ways. For the return leg, we received no information from AlpyBus despite our transfer not having shown up 15 minutes past the planned departure. We ended up calling AlpyBus (who did not pick up on the phone number we had received from them - instead we had to find another number on their website) who blamed their sub-contractor APS for the delay (but why could AlpyBus not just inform us about the delay?)
Definitely a computer says no job!
Definitely a computer says no job!! Had an accident on my last day skiing and was on crutches going home. Called Alpy bus to ask if it was possible for the bus to pull in at the bottom of the road our apartment was on (was the exact route the bus was going anyway). Had a rude and unhelpful person on the telephone who said I could not change my pickup location. I explained that was not what I was trying to do just wondering if the driver could stop on his/her route to collect me so I didn’t have to do a difficult walk on crutches to the pick up point. Was told I might not get a friendly driver who would be willing to do that!! Person on the phone was not willing to message or call the driver to even ask! Wouldn’t have minded if the driver said no, it was the fact the person I spoke to was not even willing to ask!
The morning of the transfer I walked 40 minutes on my crutches in quite a lot of pain, of course when I got to the pick up point the driver said of course they would have been happy to stop.
I mean seriously, the person on the phone, no empathy or compassion and no inclination to do anything that might have taken a bit of effort. Would not use Aply bus again!!
Very poor
Very poor, given a collection time for Geneva Airport the night before we were due to fly. It was for 3 hours after we landed, just not acceptable especially with two young children, so had no choice but to hire a car last minute. Their website states shared winter transfers should be 30 minutes to 1 hours wait on arrival.
No response to emails sent.
*Absolute Shambles.
*DO NOT expect a reply from Alpybus if a dispute arises.
*DO make sure you pay for any service from this 'transfer company' with a credit card, as you can make a claim using Chargeback/Section 75.
Our party booked a return transfer from Geneva to Tignes for 17 people. For our return to Geneva, Alpybus provided a 15 seat transfer vehicle! The promised 10 min solution turned into a 90 min delay for two of our party, meaning check=in had closed and alternative fights/train travel had to be purchased. Alpybus are clearly at fault, because they failed to provide the agreed service. If a 17 seat vehicle had been provided at the agreed time, no issue would have arisen.
Now a half decent company, concerned about critical reviews highlighting poor performance, might offer some compensation or at least engage in dialogue with affected customers. Not Alpybus. I know of many good companies who do take customer service seriously and are proactive in promoting their brand. What can you say about Alpybus = do they even respond to any reviews?
We will be taking our business elsewhere in future, best of luck if you book with this lot.
Smooth and easy service from Geneva to…
Smooth and easy service from Geneva to Chamonix. Thanks to Octavian who was informative and friendly:)
Helpfull and nice driver!
Helpfull and nice driver!
Adrian was great!
Great service!
Juan was friendly and could not have done more to help us and our 3yr old daughter get comfy and car seat set-up on our first leg from Geneva to Les Houches. Comfy journey which was on time. On our return, the bus arrived on time and the driver was equally friendly and helped to set up the car seat sorted. Only comment was that the heating was on very high.
Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost! Book Flixbus or any other respectable bus service instead of this excuse for a bus company. Horrible, banged up vehicles from the last century and the departure times are “flexible”, meaning they will make you wait 2 hours at the airport or move your return time ahead last minute just to fill buses or replace broken down buses.

Transfer from Morzine to Geneva (a 1.5 hour trip). Got collected 7 hours !!!! before flight departure and was left with 5.5 hours to kill at the airport. Phoned and spoke to someone to try to change pick up but they couldn’t have cared less
Good experience .. would use again
I received confirmation sms and email of my collection time and place the day before my collection.
The bus arrived on time at the collection point, very modern, clean and comfortable.
We made three pickups all on the route to the airport with out any delays and arrived on time.
Very happy with my experience.
Transfer left Geneva without us
Transfer left Geneva without us, despite having checked in and waiting where we were told to go. 1.5 hour delay to get us on the next ride and tried to make out it was our fault... hmm. Ride back from Morzine was on time and went as planned.
**** AVOID AT ALL COSTS
**** AVOID AT ALL COSTS. AWFUL EXPERIENCE START TO FINISH *****
So on the way it was completely disorganised chaos at the airport with them shouting out your name, the problem being it was rammed with people and really quite an awful experience from the start. No one could hear and we were rammed into the edge of the airport building like sheep!! Nowhere to sit or relax to wait for the transfer. On arriving at my chalet my suitcase got mixed up with another customer leaving me with none of my luggage to start my holiday. I contacted them immediately within 20 mins of being dropped off no less than 4 times with each time someone saying they would get back to me. I gave them the name of the passenger I was left with and still no help at all. The following day I couldn't get in touch with them at all, no reply to calls or emails. It is only because of Jet 2 and easyjet being so good that I was able to swap back for the luggage. I still heard nothing. ***THEN AT THE END OF MY HOLIDAY *** I received an email saying they couldn't help with the lost luggage, no call no help whatsoever. I WILL NEVER TRAVEL WITH THESE AGAIN THE WHOLE EXEPRIENCE WAS AWFUL FROM START TO FINISH.
In the end a SKIDDYBUS driver took me to exchange my luggage called swiss TONY, he was a shining armour in disguise and a credit to that company who will be the only company I will use in future because of the Kindness he showed to me that day to help me when I was so stressed as I had no luggage to start my boarding holiday.
SO NO THANKS TO ALPYBUS AND ALL CREDIT TO SKIIDY GONZALES AND EXPECIALLY SWISS TONY, YOUR KINDNESS MADE IT SO I HAD MY CASE BACK TO START MY HOLIDAY WITHIN 24 HOURS.
DO NOT BOOK
DO NOT BOOK! Moved my transfer to Geneva airport from 18:00 to 20:00. Received an email with this update, I replied explaining that I would miss my flight, asking if they could move me onto another bus. But received no response, you can’t get through on the phone either ! Have been left to book onto another transfer , at my own expense. No explanation or apology. Disgusting customer service. No care for their passengers at all. From the rest of the reviews it looks like I’m not the only customer of there’s that has been let down. Why run a service or let customers book a service if you can’t keep to it. Terrible.
Terrible
Terrible. Changed the transfer pick up time by 4.5 hours the day before arriving so meant missing the first day. If you are travelling to Verbier from Geneva get the train. It’s cheaper and reliable!
Most unreliable and unprofessional
Most unreliable and unprofessional. The bus came to our meeting point, but decided to leave 10 minutes before scheduled departure time. He did not call, nor notified us, leaving us with no other alternative. We had to take a taxi to Geneva airport later that night and miss our flight back home. Not recommended at all.
If I could rate a 0 stars I would
If I could rate a 0 stars I would.
I booked a trip from St Gervais Les Bains La Fayet to Geneva Airport. I received at text message from AlpyBus saying my bus was delayed by 20 mins the day before my travels. I was waiting at the bus stop for an extra 10 mins after the delayed time and no bus arrived. Due to my flight time, I could not wait any longer or I would miss my flight. I had to find another way to the airport which has cost an additional €60.
Once I was on my way to the airport, I received a phone call from the driver asking where I was. This was now 15 mins after the supposed rescheduled time.
I emailed their customer services with proof of the entire incident, and they refused to provide a refund and said in their email that the bus did in fact arrive at the rescheduled time. I stated in my follow up email that that was simply untrue as, if it was there, I would have gotten on it.
This entire process was a shambles and I made it to my flight just in time as I had to be driven to the airport and incur the additional road tax fees and tolls.
AlpyBus have been extremely unhelpful. I have contacted BlaBla Bus to see if they can help, as I booked with them.
The most unreliable transfer company…
The most unreliable transfer company ever. Cancelled my transfer 2 days before departure. Leaving me with no alternate transfer options and missing my flight due to this. Also cancelled on my sister’s bus a month prior. Never use this company even if it’s your last option. Update: No refund
Very happy customer
Seen a lot of negative reviews here but our experience was excellent. Booking was very simple and a fraction of the cost of private transfers to Chamonix.
Information was given very straightforwardly and communication about where to meet and at what time was clear.
When the information was different on our way back to what was on our ticket, a quick phone message from me was received and acted on meaning no problem the following morning.
Very happy customer
