Totally inflexible when I asked to change my flight (and transfer) for an urgent family matter. Impersonal customer service that doesn’t care about local and loyal customers living in the Alps!

Utterly useless
Utterly useless
Made a simple mistake booking the wrong month with only 3days to go. Can’t change or amend booking. Sent 6 emails - nothing back. Used enquiry form - nothing back. Tried to just book a new trip - couldn’t pay. Enquired why - nothing back. Utterly useless company with 0 customer service. DO NOT USE - TOO RISKY
Never again
We have used airport transfers many times (usually Skiidy Gonzalez but they do not go to Verbier) and so chose Alpybus - never again. They treat you like cattle. We were made to wait for nearly 2 hours at Geneva Airport, despite being the only ones on board, and were then dropped half a mile from our hotel. The return was even worse. Firstly the time - 5.45am for a 12.30pm flight despite a transfer time of c90 minutes. The pick-up was at the same place as the drop off, but this time the half mile walk was up the steep hill, obviously with all of our luggage. And to exacerbate this inconvenience, the minibus drove past us as we struggled up the hill - given the time and that there were 3 of us, he must have known we were to be his passengers! Finally, we arrived at the airport at 7.20am to be told we were over 2 hours too early to check our bags in. The reason for the 2 stars (rather than 1) is at least the minibus was there and our driver was polite.
Poor Customer Service
Our flight was at 14:05 and Alpybus put us on a coach at 05:35 from Tignes, arriving in the airport at 09:20. Their website is misleading, they allow you select a pickup time only to change it to whatever suits them, clearly minimising their costs and not caring about the impact it has on their passengers.
This behaviour wouldn't feel so bad if their customer service wasn't equally awful and unpleasant. When I called asking for a more reasonable time, I was told that I should have read the T&Cs more closely and that their is nothing they can/will do other than cancel my booking. The person I spoke to was very rude and was rushing me off the phone.
The reason they gave for putting us on such an early bus was that there was bad weather and heavy traffic. All the forecasts said the weather would be clear and it was, so it was very hard to trust them.
I will not travel with Alpybus again. The reason I have given two stars instead of one is that the journey itself was fine, but given there are so many other transfer companies offering the same service this is the minimum expectation.
Avoid using at all costs !
Extremely bad service and awful customer service. We have been trying to resolve an issue since August 2022 following a failed journey and horrendous customer service experience. We have submitted a complaint and have been following up on a weekly basis with the customer service team since then but we have not received any meaningful responses. Since October we are being completely ignored. Avoid using Alpybus at all costs.
Terrible service for transfer to…
Terrible service for transfer to avoriaz. Had to wait ,fir hours at airport. Coming back they picked us up 7 hours before flight. Avoid at all costs and use one of the other companies.
Thanks to Alan for lovely service
We used Alpybus from Geveva to Leysin. The vehicle really big and comfy with black out windows. The service was amazing and the drivers really helpful and professional. Our driver was Alan.
Cool under stress
Our trip to Geneva to yesterday was very difficult for our driver Paulo. Very icy roads resulted in blocked and closed roads before we arrived at the motorway. Long ques everywhere. With the help o google maps and some passengers backroads were found to avoid the blockages. However, whilst in queue we experenced the van violently shaking and a huge explosion in the air to our right. Pieces of metal were flying through the air and one very large piece landed on a car two cars in front of. Completely demolishing the car. The piece was as big as a barn door. No one was physically hurt near us but 1 person is described to to be seriously injured.. Despite1 passenger being irate and abusive, Paulo did the responsible thing, got out checked the van and the situation. As a new driver to the area, he remained calm and responsible. After this incident and another queue we got moving and arrived at the airport. I commend Paulo for his actions , calmness and consulting with passengers who knew the area well. I hope the rest of his day was less eventful. Thank you Paulo.

It’s a gamble, not a reliable service
My partner and I have used Alpybus before and it has worked well, but this time our experience was very poor. Reading other reviews, they are clearly not reliable / consistent so it is a gamble whether you will have a smooth journey or not. This time the driver couldn’t read Google maps, took so many wrong turns, we were going around in circles at one point - it was so bad it was funny until we were all about to miss our flights. Initially he couldn’t find our address despite having it in his phone so was half an hour late for us, and then an hour late picking everyone else up. The route head office plotted for him was also mad with a pick up way off the route from Chamonix to Geneva. A woman in our van did actually go on to miss her flight. Communication was terrible, no real recognition of a crisis until we started to speak up / ask if the driver and 2 Alpy staff in the front knew what they were doing. Overhearing one of the guys (not the driver) trying to solve the crisis on the phone, it became clear that very few of their staff take any responsibility for doing their job. Total shambles this time which will make us think twice about using them again.

Friendly driver and affordable, reliable service
Our driver Paulo was on time and very friendly. He made every effort to put us at ease and the journey was smooth and efficient. The cost of the transfer was reasonable and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with Alpybus again.

Polite driver, mini van from Tignes to Geneva
We were told what time to meet the night before. Our driver found us before we got to the meeting spot and helped us with our luggage. We were transported in a nice mini van and had a toilet stop between Tignes and Geneva airport. Note that on the way there we used Bensbus with zero toilet stops and no usable loo on the bus, so this was a better experience with young children. Back in good time for flights on 30th Dec.

They add stress to your trip
I used AlpyBus for a round trip, from the trip to Geneva to Chamonix. They were over an hour late, then once we were hearded onto the bus, the trip was even longer than it should have been.
On return, they changed the location of the pickup point which was in a parking lot instead of an allocated parking spot and made the bus leave 40 minutes earlier from the booked time. I was still able to make it, except that they were also over 30 minutes late, I was forced to book another Bus out of fear of missing my flight, once I called they're inaudible automated customer service and requested a refund, they said it was my fault for leaving. Please do not use these guys

AlpyBus, Paolo B new Portuguese driver
AlpyBus- Checked in on arrival at the desk, located and given a time for the bus. Ten minutes late leaving, but notified. Paolo B, new Portuguese driver, good guy very polite explained he was new and handed out sweets. Packed the bags in order of the drop off. Swift drop offs and hey presto we arrived at our door. Good job Paolo B!

RECOMMENDATION….. Do NOT use Alpy bus!!!! Absolute chaos. The drivers were late, herded us on to coaches, took the longest route to Morzine through Geneva to avoid toll roads, chaos again whilst we waited for mini buses to take us on the final keg to Morzine!! Total travel time 4.5 hours (which should have taken 1.5, 2 hours max)

Very bad experience and unethical personnel
Had a very bad experience with AlpyBus and their staff. I booked a transfer at 4pm. I was at the bus stop 10minutes before. The bus had already left. In order not to miss my flight, I had to organise private taxi which cost me 250EUR.
By calling AlpyBus, they said they had rescheduled for 3.30 basically last minute. I was met with a very unprofessional and unethical customer service who basically stated it's not their problem, did not offer an apology for inconvenience, not to mention to refund the ticket or to refund the 250EUR which I lost because of their mishap. In fact the customer service provider I talked to hung up on me.
The company seems to be fraudulent and not what they try to look like on the outside.
EDIT! After reading the reply from AlpyBus, just saying that what AlpyBus is writing is incorrect and again a mishap from their side. I DID enter a correct phone number, but AlpyBus FAILED to use the correct number. Also if I bought the ticket from EasyBus, there was nowhere stated that the line is operated by AlpyBus, so I had NO-WAY of knowing your term and condition. Again what a complete error of customer service from AlpyBus. Also you were the ones changing the schedule! EasyBus has nowhere written on their terms and conditions that they change the schedule. Tell me AlpyBus HOW was I supposed to know your terms if I didn't even know you operate the line? Again your customer service is the worst. And the error was from you. You still owe me 250EUR!
