I joined alt.com just a week ago. My experience has been total frustration. It seems that 99% is fake. It is a website for hookers and gangsters to make some money from honest people who like to explore their phantasies or meet a real partner for life.

100% a scam. Fake profiles and "ambassadors " . Dont waste your time and money.

Joined, and absolute garbage! 100% spam, and scams. If you do get messages they 100% scam and spam. Don’t waist your time or money, go ANYWHERE ELSE ohhh and FYI adult friend finder is EXACTLY SAME. Asked for a refund on 3 months, they say they can’t only down grade, 1 month. I don’t want this garbage and would LOVE a refund.

Avoid this site at all costs, it's a total scam. Can't contact members even if you pay membership. They make you have to pay again to allow standard members read and reply to your messages. The internal message system does not work.
So after paying for silver or gold membership you still can not make contact with 99% of the profiles.

Complete garbage of a site.

I gave this site one star because there was no option for zero. 90% of the membership on this site are scammers. One has at least seven different profiles in different countries using the same photos and profiles. Reporting the frauds does no good whatsoever. The Alt administration has no interest in dealing with these fakes. In my opinion they are actually complicate in allowing these scams to continue. The abundance of fraudulent profiles artificially raises the membership, conning new members into thinking this site is worthwhile. The biggest scam here is Alt itself. I was once a paying Gold member, but never again. Alt will never get another penny from me.

Out of the 25 women I contacted 11 responded and all of them were scammers trying to get my bank details. 60% of the time the site would fail to load webpages of just straight up crash. Now I can’t even sign in without the webpage freezing.

Pleaseeaee do not waste your time e alt.com dba bdsmdatingonly.com. Its just s front fir women who are scammers fake photo users and ghosters. You might find a honest resl sub out in kansas or indiana but most of the women are doms scams or play endless games. It’s not a useful site anymore. Instead you will be asked to send gift cards phone repair and gas money endlessly. No one will speak on the phone or theyll claim deafness or a sick relative. You’re better off on match.

Beware of overcharges! They will put you on recurring payments, they always have one answer: the auto pay box was checked. ALT is a financial minefield: it would be unwise to trust them with your bank details. I used it for six months and I haven't gotten close to meeting anyone.

Terrible site. 90% of accounts are fake. There seems to be Russian connection and The Nigerian 419 scam. I was nearly scammed by a phisher from here. It was the inheritance scam. I believe had I continued down this rabbit hole, I'd ended up in prison for money laundering.

ANYTIME YOU ARE ASKED TO USE Hangouts AND/OR THE CASHAPP don't walk, run away as fast as you can.

You might be asked to pay a $350 Security Guarantee. They will probably require an astronomical relocation fee and/or a crazy submissive/slave fee.

Supposedly they have a process to verify your account and put 'Verified' on your profile. For God's sake don't you do it!!! They validate it with a Pic of your ID! Nuff said. Do your own verification. Ask them to take a photo of their face with a sign with a strange word like, 'Bubbles'. They might say that their camera is broken or they use the phrase, 'I love you, You can trust me' excuses. Firmly repeat the request. If they fail to send the photo, count your blessings - - you probably dodged a Catfish hook.

Google lens helped me find photo stock of women that they use as their pro picture. Also, if their English text is strange, if they don't use spaces between their commas and they say they've never been married, no kids and after the first sentence BDSM is never mentioned again, they might be phishing.

REGARDING UNWANTED MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION, SIMPLE SOLUTION, CONTACT YOUR CREDIT/DEBIT CARD BANK IMMEDIATELY. Tell them your card has been compromised. Have them immediately cancel your card. In that situation they should waive the overnight delivery fee.

After all I wrote, my strong suggestions are, first cancel your card immediately and leave the site never to return.

Stay away from this site. I have turned off Auto-Renew 3 times and yet they still charge me. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. This site was something years ago, but now nobody seems real. I have not met anyone at all.

i cant turn auto renew off. There is a button but after you turn it off it says send a postal mail to amsterdam.

This so called "site" has been scamming gullible people for decades now with 90% of its membership base being fake profiles the site itself has created just to bait people into paying for a membership. How these psychopaths have managed to stay in business this long by only conning people out of their money and offering no real service is truly a testament to the corrupt nature of american "businesses".
Stay away from these thieves at all costs.

ALT.com A veteran of this site on and off for 15+ years. I have subscribed to AFF and ALT and both in the past have produced real results. However ALT.com has lost all credibility and practicality. NOW it is full of scammers, some escorts and fake profiles. Yes there are possibly a few real profiles but the number of real profiles is certainly under 10%. DO not waste your money on ALT.com unless you have money and time to burn. In the past 2 weeks I reported over 50 scam or fake profiles and I saw perhaps one or two removed. The administrator of ALT doesn't seem to care about integrity of the site. Again there was a time this site produced results but absolutely not the case any longer.

I was on this site for just 2 days.

The first contact said just to meet to be friends cost me $200.

The next one was not a good match, didn't even listen to my emails and almost constantly wanted to go above my limits i described

The last one looked promising for almost a day, but she brought out a fake bank account claiming she move to my state saying this "trust" fund was going to be hers in a few days. BUT she then said she needed $900 for filing fees. THIS IS THE NIGERIAN BANK ACCOUNT FRAUD. I immediately told her i need time to think and she needs to provide more details. She then accused me of trying to be deceptive. In the end she got me to give her access to the DomWomen.alt.com account and now I can't even log on. Even with the password recovery.

Alt. com KNOWS this is happening, it is the way they make their living.

I have been a board member of a local "leather" group, and I said from the very beginning, I NEVER PAY to play. This site is nothing but a prostitution portal and since it is nationwide, i believe it should be prosecuted for sex trafficking and RICO

Turned off auto renew after last years charge. Did not know it existed, So wore the charge. They got me. Scammers have fraudulently turned it back on an charged me again. After some emails back an forth, The charge has been refunded.

Tried "Gold" level for a couple of weeks. Total waste of money. Even with the high level of access to other profiles, you need to pay even MORE for many people to just receive your messages to them. Contacted by scammers 99.9% of the time. Constantly trying to get you "off site" to continue the scamming. Could be a great site, if they cared to police the bots and crooks, and actually give you value for a top level subscription. Connecting with anyone actually in my area was impossible with a top level subscription.

Joining is easy and tried it for two weeks. You get hits from everywhere. All scammers, not just a few. I had at least 75 conversations. They propose to be local or in your area. When you find out they have phone numbers 1500 miles away. Phony pics, phony email addresses, seem to all want you to download hangouts and buy things before you meet them (of course, you never meet anyone). The members are good at stringing you along. I would strongly suggest another site not owned by this company as they don't check out any of their members. I can see where a scam could get by, but really ALL?
