Alternative Balance Insurance is worthless

Alternative Balance has proven to be an absolutely worthless insurance company. I've been a chiropractic physician in professional practice nearly 40 years, and I had the benefit of an instance seeing how a true professional malpractice carrier responds to a client's needs. They obtained a swift dismissal of a false claim! The Alternative Balance team, however, promised coverage which was never honored: they were reluctant and slow to offer any support, and when I was finally handed over to their separate insurance carrier, I was 'handled' by a claims 'adjustor' -- not an attorney -- whose Linkedin profile showed he had only a B.A. degree in 'communications', and no law degree. My claim was denied, and no help or support was offered at all, even though I was promised that their insurance offered coverage for 'financial and reputation' damages that can happen from an accusation -- one which was totally baseless and made 14 months after I worked with a client who had been hospitalized in the past with psychosis. I now have to consider hiring an attorney for legal action against Alternative Balance, in order to get them to honor their supposed 'Malpractice Insurance Policy'.
I would recommend staying away from this company based upon my decades of experience in the medical field, and how a true malpractice carrier should respond to a client's needs.
