We travelled with Altibus from Geneva…
We travelled with Altibus from Geneva to La Tania yesterday (1st February 2025).
Despite a rock fall closing the roads and traffic chaos, the staff from Altibus were amazing.
From the ladies at Geneva to the taxi waiting for us at 2am in moutiers.
A special shout out must go to the Bus driver, he was fantastic and kept us going to our destination, constantly providing updates and calling ahead arranging late arrival etc.
We couldn't have had a better experience in difficult conditions.

Because of trafic jam bus leaves us at emergency overnight in Albertville. No information from Altibus about further travel. Next day we have to organize travel by ouerselves on our cost. Altibus didn’t answer any phone, no infrormation about further travel. There was Bonney bus next day to continue our trip.

We understand that this situation may have caused some inconvenience and we are sincerely sorry.
However, the delay was due to an unforeseeable event beyond our control: a rock fall cut off and then disrupted traffic, causing considerable congestion.
In accordance with article 1218 of the French Civil Code, which defines force majeure as an unforeseeable, irresistible and external event rendering the performance of an obligation impossible, we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by this exceptional situation.
In addition, current transport regulations do not provide for compensation in the event of delays due to force majeure.

Commande très facile
Commande très facile, mais il faut être attentif, quand on n'a pas de bus disponible sur un arrêt précis (ex Méribel Mottaret office du tourisme), il modifie la destination même si je ne change que le lieu de départ ! Donc au lieu d'aller à Moutiers, il me proposait Courchevel ;)

Very untrustworthy bus
We followed the instructions of the staff in blue altibus jackets and waited for the bus at the corresponding platform, but the bus driver did not stop at the right place and left the station earlier than scheduled. It was until we contacted customer service on the phone that we found out the situation, and the customer service said there was nothing she could do, so we could only consider ourselves unlucky if we didn't get in the bus.
Altibus is still very irresponsible. Their replied to me and asked me to fill in a complaint. I had already filled in the complaint information on January 25, the day of the incident, with the number 50458, but I have not received any reply so far. Previously, they shirked responsibility on the phone and said that they were not responsible for the transportation and could not do anything. They were not even willing to refund the money, saying that I was not lucky enough. I suggest that everyone should not buy tickets without any guarantee from here.
