To whom that is considering to get a bike at AltingShoppen,
I recently purchased a bike from AltingShoppen.dk. I placed an order on 17/9/2024 (Monday), got reply almost immediately in the late evening on the same day with an invoice from them, of coruse, its back is associated with an internal bank account.
I felt skeptical but still made the payment, then I found out that they are blacklisted by the original manufacturer. I eventually cancelled the transaction and contacted the seller. He patiently explained to me the situation that because of their low prices and the manufacturer does not want that, therefore, they are blacklisted. I checked and asked everything that I could on pricing, delivery method, stock status, etc. I decided to trust him and made another payment on the 18/6 (Tuesday) after numbers of emails exchanged with him. One day later the payment was executed!
Almost immediately, I received a confirmation from him saying that the bike is being prepared for shipment and I will get the tracking number by Thursday! To my total suprise, the bike arrived in my backyard the next day on Friday late afternoon. Apparently they went for the fastest delivery option to get the bike to me (I live in Søborg, Denmark).
I went on assembling the bike together and it looks great, exactly how it should be: very neat and robust. About my specific bike that the handle bar is a bit too low, but it can be raised easily with a rise stem which I bought in a bike shop for 200kr. The automatic gear hub works nicely but will take time to get used to, especially when you go uphill the gear doesnt go down gear automatically, but i found a trick to pedal back 1 or a few rounds, and it goes down by itself.
Overrall, I can encourage anyone that is considering to get an ENGWE from them to go ahead, they are fully legit. In fact, a few friends of mine are already considering to get the similar one for themselves.
Cheers!
