To anyone who wants to be sure you get world class service and great prices from Alto reach out to RIK MERCALDI in sales. I have bought two guitars on line and talked to him personally both times. He has better prices than CME and Pro Audio Star who are known for great prices. I know Alto does have some mixed reviews but I can tell you if you deal with Rik personally he will go above and beyond to provide great service and great pricing and always responds to questions. I have bought 17 new higher end guitars in the last year and wish I would have found Rik Mercaldi when I first started collecting as he would have saved me a bunch of time and money! Call the NY store listed on line to reach Rik.

I bought a guitar via PayPal from a link to Altomusicmart, shopify, and it wasn’t until I spotted several red flags that this might be a scam, they even sent a confirmation email, but when I tried to call and email them there is no connection, only a gmail address at the bottom of the confirmation page, I emailed it asking for a refund and received a message saying it would be looked into and no response to any further emails, the address is Kassel Franzgraben Australia, it’s a German address yet it says Australia.. There is a real Alto music which is I believe genuine, lesson learned
