I had Altro Marine flooring fitted in my wetroom as i am a wheelchair user. I noticed after less than 3 months that the flooring began yellowing in patches , in the entrance to the bathroom ,in front of sink unit and around the toilet I informed them there was a fault ,they sent somebody out from their company AND then told me that it was my wheelchair rubber wheels at fault !!!! WELL , the flooring is supposed to be suitable for wheelchair use but APPARENTLY NOT !!
Weeks and weeks of arguing about a refund and lots of emails about the yellowing of the flooring later ,Basically IT WAS MY FAULT !! They said that the rubber on my wheelchair caused the problem ,so it was total victim blaming , they took no responsibility for the flooring having yellowing patches and REFUSED me a refund on the grounds of flooring not fit for purpose,breaching my consumer rights act .
ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY DON'T CARE IF A PROBLEM OCCURS .
Customer service is shocking ,emails go unanswered !!!!!!!

DO NOT USE OR WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY .
If i could have given 0 stars i would have ,they dont deserve even 1 star !!!!!!

I needed after-sales help from Altro. The only response is their standard email "Thank you for contacting Altro. Our office is currently closed. A member of our team will respond during our normal opening hours, which are 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday." But the promised response never happens.

We fitted an Altro non slip screed in our pool room using an approved Altro supplier. Its full of trowel marks, uneven, very slippery, discolored but according to the Altro rep "whilst its not the best job hes seen it meets their spec". Terrible product and customer support.

Since purchasing our Altro Flooring we have had to contact Altro a couple of times and each time they have delivered outstanding customer service. Their representative for our area, Howard, made sure everything was taken care of and that we were 100% happy with their product and service. Nothing was too much trouble and receiving this high standard of customer service confirmed our decision to buy our wet-room flooring from Altro was the right one. We are delighted. Thank you Howard and the team at Altro. Excellent product, excellent service.
