Bought a trailer, very happy, from the price I paid to the service they provided. When I picked up the trailer, they ensured everything was well and I was happy. I also asked about security, they asked me lots of questions to make sure they advised correctly, and they recommended a device which was fit for my needs and was not the most expensive they sold.

Brilliant trailer for every job.

Bought a 'Heavy duty tarp/grounsheet' via ebay simply to inflate a dinghy on top to protect it underneath. After just ONE use in the back garden on block paving with no sharp objects, the 'heavy duty tarp' was covered in tears and holes! Just from having a dinghy on it!!! 'Not fit for purpose' is an understatement! I sent the seller photos and they accepted the ebay return initially... however... I contacted them multiple times to explain that I didn't have a printer for the return label and my disability prevents me from standing and queing, so could not get to the post office (not to mention the covid lockdown). I assumed the seller would just refund and save the cost of return postage for themselves as they could not sell the tarp anyway? After 2 weeks and multiple ignored messages from the seller, they finally replied with this:

"It was damaged by the customers fault and the claim will not be accepted."

Clearly that's not true! It's supposed to be a heavy duty tarp/groundsheet that can't even have a rubber dinghy on it! What a joke of a reply! Totally patronizing! (Although printing paper would have been better than the tarp, you can't get paper sheets that big! Now using a couple of picnic blankets instead which work perfectly)

Regardless of their U-turn, the ebay return had already been accepted! My sister who lives 30 miles away, printed off the label, drove to my house and took it to the post office for me. I had to wait another week to contact ebay after the item was returned due to ebay rules; Ebay was not impressed and refunded me instantly!

If I had been simply refunded for the faulty tarp I would not have been bothered; But the seller ignored my messages, made the situation extremely hard work, costly and is really patronizing!
