We have had a horrible experience since pre launch and now still dealing with issues several months post launch. The customer success managers don't know the platforms. Support takes forever to fix issues. It is often down or offline. It doesn't work as it says it will. Harry James, Samuel Herra, Yesenia Mora, Gabriela Guerra, and Jorge Marginet display poor communication and organization. I've never worked with such an inept platform complemented by an equally incompetent team.
Absolute joke to work with. The login system has failed on me maybe 40 times resulting on needing to reset paswords. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing; they don't send invoices, only demands and the service, after all the frustrations is harder to use and more expensive than other booking portals. Do yourself a favour and avoid. Cancelled 3 months ago and still not fully processed, apparently. Sent "final" invoice to their portal (the one that doesn't let me in at the best of time), that they'd confirmed they'd removed my access to so I have no ability to see it.
We filled the contact form on their homepage, because we wanted to work with them. After some tries because we did not receive a message a complety different company contacted us with the information that their have our contact from amadeus. They said there are working with amadeus, so we started. Long story short it ended in a desaster.
Why is Amadeus giving our information to foreign companies, which we have not contacted ?
And why is amadeus not answering ?
A really bad experience
We booked our holiday to South Africa via Amadeus.com. less that 24 hours before our trip, Turkish Airlines cancelled the flight. When we contacted the less than helpfull customer service, we were told that they will look in to the matter and send us an email!
We needed to sort the problem out as soon as possible, and we did not receive an email. When we phoned again and asked to speak to a person that could acually tell us where we stand, we were told that it was not possible.
As we had game reserve bookings, rental car bookings and internal flight bookings as well as accomodation bookings already in place and a lot of it paid for, we did not want to lose more money and did not want to cancell our trip. We were desperate to get closure and get some information as to what Amadeus was going to do to sort the problem out. No help at all!
We eventually got hold of a chat robot (It could not possibly be a human) and managed to cancell all our flights.
We are getting a small amount of money back, hopefully. We had to book via another airline, and this time with the airline directly, once bitten twice shy, at a very high price due to the short notice (now 18 hours before our initial departure) and our hard earned holiday was now saved. This at a much higher price than planned. Not only are we going to lose a lot of money on cancelling the initial flights via Turkish Airlines, but we now have to pay a premium price for new tickets.
Turkish Airlines, and their incompetence as well as the lack of help from Amadeus is putting a huge damper and a very bitter pill to swallow on our hard earned holiday.
I cannot reccomend booking via Amadeus.
