Kindle's Unlimited download subscription, Do not get scammed in this way!

I had a present of a new Kindle which was a more expensive version including 3 months Unlimited Download subscription. This, unlike what it sounds like, means that you can only download from an Unlimited library, which is very limited. I cancelled after 2 months before it automatically renewed. When this was confirmed I was advised that after the 3 month subscription expired all downloaded books, I had 7, would be removed from the kindle!

Will not protect against fraudulent 3rd party sellers listing on Amazon.

Having had to previously cancel a prime membership (they took money from my account for 9 months without my agreement) that automatically signed me up after mistakingly buying a product with next day delivery I'm further disappointed. Be wary of 3rd.party accounts. You will not get the same service or guarantees that you may assume you have with an Amazon prime account. I bought a telescopic cork handle fishing rod for £64. I was sent a completely different lord which wasn't telescopic and retails at £52. Confused I looked at the description on Amazon. (I had bought through an angling magazine recommendation link so just bought it on good faith). BIG MISTAKE!. The description was for a holdall bag despite the photographs being the telescopic rod I thought I was buying. The UK trade's description act seems to having biting jurisdiction with Amazon. Despite the wrong item, overpriced cost, false listing a booked fishing trip cancelled and a day off work for which I won't be paid Amazon claim no responsibility AND still have that listing up. I'm about to cancel my Amazon membership. They've been overcharge me for items I've later found much cheaper elsewhere online for far to long.

I have used Amazon Prime religiously…

I have used Amazon Prime religiously for the the last 10 years and I was very pleased with them, however, since DEC2019 they have been a complete disappointment in regards to their 2 day shipping (which is a JOKE) and since they started "outsourcing" their customer service all I ever get is attitude when I need assistance or help especially when it comes to timely shipping. Ironically the Prime Membership has increased from 70.00 to 100.00 in the last several years but the service has been disappointing and getting worse. Save your money and pass on paying for Prime. Another reason I stopped using this company is because I strongly feel they need to increase their employee's wages, it's absolutely disgusting that they make billions and choose not to pay their employees a decent living wage.
