I regret not checking trust pilot before purchasing. My review will be the same as most of the others, unfortunately.
I applied the “easy install”, “extra sticky adhesive” lights to the PAINTED wall (as instructed) and after a couple of days, the lamp fell off the wall, onto my newborn baby in his cot (you can imagine the crying and panicking). This could have ended up much worse and could have caused morbidity or mortality. I addressed the company who said it was my fault due to applying to wallpaper (wrong), then after proving against this it was due to the paint being too thickly applied to the wall (again, wrong). No offer of a refund or return. Lamp has gone straight in the bin and I am one VERY dissatisfied and disappointed mother. I will be taking this further. DO NOT PURCHASE.
**Edit - this company tried to get my review removed, which trustpilot declined, this show’s a lot. The reply states that the paint was old, it is not, the house is newly refurbished and the paint was done maybe 2 years ago. They also only offered a refund and return AFTER i stated that I had binned the item, knowing full well that I couldn’t. Before this, it was all excuses and ignorance. Again.. do not buy. They also clearly hide all the bad reviews and comments on their social media :)

I received substandard sconces which were supposed to be adhesive. The fixture was very poorly made and the adhesive was not strong enough to support the fitting. Customer service shocking and expectation of me to return to china by post which would cost me more than I paid and then no guarantee of a refund. Very disappointed.

I purchased a set of Wall Sconces (#3134) and within days the sconces had fallen off my bedroom walls as the 3m sticky tape provided was weak.
I then screwed the wall sconces onto my wall and then within a few weeks the lamps shades had separated and become completely detached from the top of sconce.
I reached out to the company as they stated there is a 1 year warranty and this was a manufacturing issue and they did nothing about replacing the products and instead offered a discount code.
I was then requested to remove my review by the company in return for a full refund almost 3 months ago to which I agreed. I still haven’t received any refund and they requested the review be removed first which I agreed to. After constantly chasing updates on a refund, I have now given up on receiving my money back.
I wouldn't recommend Ambience UK unfortunately.

Represent themselves as a uk based company selling "luxury" items. What they are actually is a Chinese bases organisation selling absolute cheap rubbish. Lamps arrived cramped into a small box with no assembly instructions, screamed cheap tatt from the second I laid eyes on them. Installed the first one following their supposed "comprehensive" installing guide (3very basic lines on the side of the box) lamp lasted 10 minutes then fell off the wall and broke. Contacted for a return and full refund only to be met with multiple false narratives as to why this isn't possible. Safe to say ive raised a card dispute and reported them to trading standards. Honestly stay well clear if you value your money...

Worked sporadically with the remotes enclosed. When the bulbs ran out quite quickly. I took the bulbs out to recharge them this was a bit of a faff to do. They worked when I put them back in but only lasted for 2 hours duration. Complete waste of money. They shouldn't need recharging so frequently. Don't buy. A mistake I won't make again.

I was very very worried having read the reviews after I ordered these sconces; however they arrived in good time, well packaged and are genuinely fabulous. I’m really really pleased. They are decent quality and look more expensive than they were. I recommend.

I ordered the wall lights before I had read the appalling reviews, and was extremely concerned. The lights were ordered early on a Monday morning and arrived 10 days later on the Wednesday, yesterday.
I was dreading opening the box, need not have worried everything was fine, all screwed together perfectly bulbs worked perfectly, I was really pleasantly surprised and very happy. I have photos to prove it.

Do NOT purchase from this company. I ordered 2 bulbs , when they were delivered the packaging was damaged and when I opened up the boxes one bulb was completely broken, you could also see what poor quality the product is and I realised I had been ‘done’ for want of a better word. I contacted the company asking for a refund and they told me in order to get a refund I would have to pay the return postage costs !! But if I wanted to keep them ( the broken damaged poor quality bulbs) I’d get 50% back!! Or they’d send me two new ( poor quality, plastic made in china bulbs) I am currently fighting with them to get a full refund! So I am £20 out of pocket.. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

This is the second time I have ordered the sconce lights from this company. The first order I had a slight issue but Sarah from customer services dealt with it brilliantly and resolved the situation. Love them! So ordered again! Again a small problem arose, however again it was resolved brilliantly. I have had nothing but fantastic service and a good product from this company. Customer services have been brilliant. I will definitely order from them again!

“Sarah” ignoring my consumer rights, my reply pointing out the consumer rights act 2015 received the same reply. I’ve now disputed the payment with my credit card company and they’re hopefully refunding me

Don’t buy from this company, goods arrived damaged as a result of poor packaging. Several emails sent requesting returns information and that a refund be made to my bank. Customer service rep Sarah informed me it is not their company policy to refund I too pointed out consumer rights particularly relating to distant selling. Referred the matter to my bank as a retail dispute and will be informing Trading Standards and Instagram of their behaviours to protect others

Quality is shocking, cheap, thin Chinese crap, arrived scratched and in bits, fit them together and nothing is square, sent photos and emails, requesting a full refund under UK consumer rights act 2015, just get generic responses, stating, no refund on sales good, even though they are damaged and not fit for purpose, return address is in Texas!!! To discourage people from sending this tat back. These will simply be going in the bin... UPDATE: 3 months after leaving this review, Sarah has made contact with me to ask me to take this very honest negative review of the product and service with a conditional offer of a full refund... ONLY if I take my review done, underhand business practise!!

I ordered a pair of wall lamps and then read the Trustpilot reviews - my heart sank. I assumed that I had been duped and resigned myself to the fact that they would be rubbish, if they turned up at all, and that I'd be stuck with them. HOWEVER - they're here, they're up and they look fantastic. My only criticism is the sales pitch; "ambience-uk" lead me to believe it was a UK company, which it's not. I was also lead to believe that bulbs were included; after paying for the lamps, I was immediately prompted to pay for bulbs at £20. Still thinking that they were included, and that they were trying to sell me additional bulbs, I declined the offer, at which point the price dropped to £10! So I bought them, thinking that £10 was reasonable for a spare pair of rechargeable bulbs. Delivery took a couple of weeks, with little communication, but when they arrived everything was as described. Just the one set of bulbs, so yes, you do need to buy them separately, but do as I did, refuse the first offer, see if they reduce them! (That might not happen when they realise I've told you!). Anyway - lamps well packaged, all present and correct, I scanned a QR code that they'd included which gave me really clear assembly and fitting instructions. I had doubts about the sticky pads after reading previous reviews, but I followed the instructions and they worked perfectly, I'm confident it's a permanent fix. If by any chance they come down in the future, I'll use the screws provided because they look great and work really well with the remotes - they came with 2 remotes. They are brighter than I expected, but can be dimmed. Lots of different colour options as well. Disco bedroom! The bulbs come with USB charging cables which both work. So, after my initial worries, I am really pleased and can recommend the product, as long as you accept that they'll take a while to arrive and that you do need to purchase the bulbs. I think that the company should be more honest about their location and more clear about what's included in the price. They should have more confidence in their product, they should maybe up the price by £10 and make it clear that bulbs are included, it would spare them a lot of negative feedback!

Please dont waste your money. The website is unclear and leads you to believe the products come with the bulbs and remote- they are not included. The product quality is also appalling. I requested a return and was offered 10% off the bulbs. I replied stating I still wished to return my item, only to be told because I purchased it via promotion, a return would not be honoured. This is not clear on the website, which is clearly designed this way, intentionally. So I'm now lumbered with 2 wall lights I wouldn't put anywhere near my walls the quality is so bad. Please dont purchase via Ambience. Appalling product and appalling customer service.

Before I start I would like to mention there was 2 orders placed on the same day for the same company so I’m disputing both. Ive attempted to speak with the company multiple times but they’re refusing to give me a refund on a “sale item” even though it’s faulty and keep suggesting other ways to use the product when it’s faulty. I’m tired of going back and forth with them as I’m getting no where. The item is a peel and stick wall lamp but doesn’t stick to the wall after multiple attempts and the has also damaged my pampas plant by falling within 2 minutes of being installed. When contacting them they said to drill it to the wall when it was purchased due to its PEEL AND STICK feature. They said no refund on sale items. Which I knew already. However the item is faulty and doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do? They also tried to then say that the 3M tape is not sticking to my wall potentially because of uneven walls or texture or dirt. I live in a brand new built home with perfect walls. I even filmed myself installing the lamps to show they don’t fit properly and they’re still refusing and telling me to drill it to the wall when I have dangerous electrical wiring behind the wall. Hence purchasing these “no drill peel and stick” wall lamps. They even fell onto my pampas plant and damaged them. In the process of damaging my plant the 3M tape has the damaged pampas feather stuck to it to make it even less sticky than it was to begin with. Extremely frustrated. I’ve also noticed EVERYTHING on their website is always “on sale” so that they can never refund customers regardless of faulty items or defects or do satisfaction despite having 30 day money back guarantee on their website. Time stamps are included in the screenshots to show item loose spinning around and coming off the wall with no effort or damage due to lack of sticky pads. Also how the sticky pad is completely inside the product so doesn’t even touch the wall
Update: they’re emailing back offering lights and replacement pads for £9.99 like I would give me ANY MORE of my money. They’re already deceiving and make it seem like the bills are included when they’re not.
