This is a total scam

This is a total scam. Please be very careful. All the product images are misleading, the jewelery is cheap metal and plastic pearls not even worth a few cents, lucky packet cheap stuff.

They and other similar companies are dishonest claiming to be a small handcrafting business going out of business. This is not handcrafted jewelery it is all fake mass produced horrible stuff. They show AI enhanced images on their sites and fool millions of people and should be ashamed for misrepresenting themselves and their products.

I was unfortunately drawn into their classy website, I should have read Trustpilot first! The earrings are truly terrible I don’t think I could even re-sell them for 50p. They are NOT silver, NOT as advertised and terribly made and quite obviously NOT a UK company as they took far too long to arrive. Do NOT buy anything from this company I feel ashamed and embarrassed to have been taken in so easily. Trading Standards should if they can stop this company from being able to sell anything in this country! But I guess the best advice is buyer beware - Sal

Junk

I ordered a beautiful necklace and when I got it was a piece of crap. Didn’t even look like the picture. I tried to return it but it would have cost me a lot to return so they said they would credit me 15%. What a joke! Never buy anything from them!!

Bait and switch

The ring they shipped to me was definitely NOT as shown on the website. The ring was not solid; it was split in the back. It was not textured; it looks like someone painted a stripe on it instead of a textured wave. It was not the colours shown either. The quality was awful.

Hong Kong con job. Placed an order for five items on June…

Placed an order for five items on June 16, 2025. Since I was led to believe that Amelia Jewelry was in the UK, I thought I would receive my five items fairly soon. Wrong. Six weeks and numerous emails to customer service(rude, deceitful people) I received three of the five items. This company is located in Hong Kong, not the UK. I attempted to cancel the remaining two items, but customer service kept ignoring my request by saying my order was in the hands of the shipper. Today is August 6, 2025 and the items I tried to cancel were just delivered to me.
The items are not as pictured, cheap looking, poor quality. I am disposing of all five items as the entire experience has left a bad impression of this Hong Kong con job, and I will not wear jewelry that is a daily reminder of how I was snookered.
I will due my due diligence from now on to make sure I do not buy from China. If it isn't made in the USA, I don't need it and I won't buy it.

Very disappointed

The vintage natural stone earrings are very heavy and the hook is very thick. I ordered a pair of chic enamel earrings, but only received 1.
I was under the impression that this was a UK based, small family business but the delivery came from Asia. Consequently the returns are difficult.

I stupidly ordered 2 pairs of earrings from this company , then read the reviews . Straight away I emailed them and said I wanted my money back and , lo and behold , I was refunded the full amount 2 days later . So thanks for that Amelia and Arthur .

DO NOT PURCHASE

DO NOT PURCHASE! Not going out of business, a bunch of crap items from China. Try to return, crazy expensive to return, even though the return mailing address is in the US.

I didn't even get as far as ordering…

I didn't even get as far as ordering anything! I emailed to ask the width dimensions of a ring because it looked quite wide and my fingers are short. I received an auto-reply message that they would get back to me in 24-48 hours. A week later, when I hadn't heard anything back, I emailed again. Same auto-reply message. Over a month later, I haven't heard from anyone! If they can't answer an email, I sure won't trust them with sending me jewelry after they have my money!!

I beg you do not buy from this company!

So.....saw this on Facebook with a European Amelia and Arthur smiling at me. I thought their earrings were gorgeous(lovely looking website)so ordered a pair for myself and a different pair for my sister as her birthday is arriving shortly.....an outlay of £45. They have arrived today. They are appalling! They have certainly never seen silver and the gold coloured ones are like polished brass! I beg you do not buy anything from this company.....buy your earrings from Silver by Mail if you want quality silver for the same price!! I have no way of returning these of course as they have come from China....I am absolutely furious. Shame in you Facebook for allowing this scam!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE. Earrings are unwearable due to the thickness of the metal hooks. Impossible to return as return as address starts with "second lift shaft in building". How is that going to reach anybody. NOT A CUTE LITTLE FAMILY COMPANY.

This jewelry is junk

This jewelry is junk, not worth a $1; made of plastic, cheap metal and fake cheap stones. The website says “quality jewelry “ it’s not! Free returns is a joke…. it’s not!!!! Nothing stated on this website is true!! Don’t waste your time or money! Especially when they say 80% off just trying to make it sound like a good deal!

Very poor quality

Very poor quality. Earrings are nothing like they appear on their website. Extremely disappointed. Customer service was satisfactory, I have been offered a 20% discount on my purchases rather than return them and pay for the privilege. Will see if it turns up. First (and last) time I've been taken in by a Facebook advertiser. Really rubbish.

Don’t waste your money

My first time buying on instagram. Couldn’t see where they’re made. Ordered two pairs of earrings. The drops were advertised as stone, which they aren’t. Not even a good imitation. Disappointed. Don’t waste your money. Bombarded with emails too.

Amelia and Arthur (same scam co)

Bought from the offshoot Amelia and Arthur. Couldn’t find reviews before ordering unfortunately, now have put 2+2 together and realise they are the same fraudsters. Said on the website the use the PO for delivery, turned out to be Evri. Very late delivery, squished package with the 3 sets of earrings I bought under a special offer mixed together. 1 pr broken, 1 on wearing kept falling off my ear. No refund for the broken earring, all a complete con. Queried that they are based in the uk (they are clearly not) no return address for returns Unser their 30 day guaranteed refund. Scam company, shall report to trading standards.
