not upset but more confused
I just wanna state I’m not upset, just a bit confused. I went twice to take my test and the first time I went with a lady she was nice but I feel she could’ve been a bit nicer. She told me the test basically had 20 questions passing grade was 17 and I got a 19/20 so I should’ve passed but for missing a stop with a pedestrian trying to walk by but I was aware of my surroundings and Im sure I would’ve seen him, the second time I went in I meet an older guy he was much nicer than the lady, he passed me with a 18/20 which honestly it’s a bit bothersome but I had to pay all this money just to pass the second time w less questions that I passed

Thank you for sharing this. We completely understand why the scoring may have felt confusing. The drive test isn’t based only on the total number of points or mistakes. Certain safety-related actions, such as failing to yield to a pedestrian, can result in an unsuccessful test regardless
of the overall score.
We know retesting is frustrating, which is why we provide retests at
cost rather than treating them as a source of profit. We’re glad your
second experience felt more comfortable and that you were able to pass.
