They put us out of business for weeks through incompetence and gross negligence
We had been with americart and then americommerce for years with great service but as is the classic story great companies get purchased by larger ones and it is downhill from there. Through negligence and incompetence cart.com americommerce basically put us out of business for several weeks. They made a change which changed the URL of our shopping cart with no notice whatsoever to us. That meant any customer trying to add anything to the shopping cart simply got an error page. This coincided with an advertising campaign we did which resulted in -0- sales. Finally a customer reported to us that our shopping cart was broken. I contacted their support dept and they fixed the problem but then only wanted to give us one free month for compensation for their gross negligence and incompetence. It is very unprofessional to have a shopping cart company where one needs to check every day to make sure their cart is still up and running. BEWARE of cart.com americommerce.com with their incompetence and callous unprofessional attitude.
