I spent 21 minutes on the phone and on hold waiting. I was trying to pay my mortgage over the phone, then I was placed on hold...and then I was hung up on. AmeriHome sucks so bad with their customer service. I still have not received any resolution to my previous complaint, which is not my fault and I was not made aware of. I discovered it myself and to date I have only been told to wait and be patient or that AmeriHome can put me on a payment plan. A PAYMENT PLAN for something that per RESPA is not my fault or responsibility.
All I wanted to do today was make a payment towards my mortgage, because the online portal will not allow me to pay an amount other than what AmeriHome is trying to get me to agree to accept responsibility for and I will not.

No customer service. Only sales department. After they get what they want, there is no way you can speak to someone. It's been over a month I've been trying to reach out to discuss PMI removal. Automated messages only.

My mortgage was transferred to Amerihome approximately 18 months after origination with another lender. Prior to the transfer, I had a biweekly payment plan in place. Amerihome failed to implement this plan upon assuming servicing, and instead required that I pay two months in advance before they would allow biweekly payments. I received only a notice of transfer and no other communication until I was billed for two months of payments.

I'm still being charged escrow after paying my own property tax and home insurance. I filled out the Escrow Waiver application and sent it to their address.
P.O. Box100077, Deluth, GA 30096-9377 I also faxed their tax department proof of my cancelled check from the County Treasurer Office in my town. Still waiting for a call back to see if they received everything. Their support line 833-200-9604.

This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my life. I sent a message 17 days ago regarding an incorrect mortgage statement and have still no response. This is completely unacceptable!
I didn’t choose this bank, my mortgage was transferred to them without my consent.
Last month I was overcharged by $110 and this month the statement still show the same incorrect amount.
Seventeen days with zero communication shows a total lack of respect for customer. If this is how they handle basic customer service and billing issues, I cannot imagine how they handle anything more serious.
Avoid this company if you can.
Absolutely the worst service I’ve dealt with.

AmeriHome recently purchased my mortgage. They underpaid my home insurance and insurer is threatening to cancel it. My insurance agent and I have been attempting to contact them for the last week plus and we can't even get a person to answer the phone. they haven't responded to voicemails or to email. I will now have to pay the difference even though I have already paid the mortgage company. (and I can't even pay online because my mortgage company pays normally).

They double charged me for a monthly payment twice and took a long time to figure it out even knowing that they took a huge amount of money from my account, putting me in a bad financial situation. I had to complain about them to CFPB. Very horrible service!

Christopher and Michelle were so helpful in thoroughly answering all my questions along the way!
Christopher Duong was amazing to work with throughout this process. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. Would highly recommend!
Our lenders were very clear and helpful during the whole process. They were free to contact at any time and were willing to help us with any questions we had.
Transition from Shellpoint to AmeriHome has been a disaster.

Christopher and Lisette did a great job in helping me navigate my refi. Professional, communicative, and knowledgeable.
Chris and Christina are the best people to work with. They are amazing. Very friendly and super communicative and they have me as a customer for life
Loved working with Mimi L. and Lauren D. They made the refinancing of my loan a smooth process. I will definitely be using them in the future and referring my friends and family to them.
Went from Mutual to SerciveMac. Made account and was ready for initial payment.6 days before first of month, I get an email saying that I will no longer have access to ServiceMac and that I need to make a new account with AmeriHome. I follow instructions to make new login with AmeriHome...failed, mortgage loan number not found. They started at less than mediocre and only have down to go.

If anyone is looking to refinance their home I would highly recommend using Amerihome and their loan processor’s. I had two of the best I believe I ever dealt with, Jeff Evan and Camryn Conroy. Even though we all were in different time zones whenever I needed them they were there for me. They answered questions quickly, I never had to wait for an answer even on weekends, they would either text me or email with the answer. My refi was done well before the time they even said it would be.
Kate Luker and the loan processor, Haley Price were fantastic. Communication was top notch!
I was a recent customer and I didn’t received my escrow check from this company and my mortgage has increase due to this check not been returned . It has been a stressful and difficult time for me because I am a senior and is on a fixed income I had no issues with them until this happened . My experience has always been one of professional and honestly but I do not recommend them at all .

Regarding loss mitigation and servicer:If you do not have to use this servicer do not. I inherited it because my mortgage was sold. They talked me into loss mitigation making it seem like it would help me due to my loss of income. They said zi had to default for months in order to apply for program. It destroyed my credit and now my payment is $300.00 more than it was previously. Every agent says A different thing. Mailed payment 15 days ago and still haven't recieved the payment. I'm beyond frustrated with this servicer. My credit is trashed my mortgage is higher. It screwed us over royally. As soon as I can I'm getting away from these people. You can't believe anything they say and each agent says something different. Loss Mittagation will not help you don't fall for it.
