SCAM
As per all the other reviews, I to thought it was a text from tesco to say I had won a phone and only needed to pay £2 postage and packaging.
Checked my bank the next day and what do you know £2 taken plus £18.75 membership.
I contacted them by email, they said they will only reimburse the whole about if I supply bank statement as proof. No way I'm giving these scammers any more private information, so going to speak to a lawyer.

THIS IS VERY BAD TO BE SCAMMING PEOPLE…
THIS IS VERY BAD TO BE SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF THERE MONEY I GOT A TEXT FROM TESCO SAYING I HAD WON A COMPETITION AND THAT I JSUT NEEDED TO PAY £2 TO GET IT DELIVERED ONLY FOR ME TO CHECK MY AND £20 HAD BEEN TAKEN OUT IVE CONTACTED MY BANK AND THE WEBSITE. TERRIBLE
SHOCKING!!
SHOCKING!!! SCAM FOR TESCO PHONE,......CHECK YOUR BANK IMMEDIATELY..
JUST FOUND OUT NOW I HAVE LOST NEARLY 40.00 FOR SOMETHING I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR.
Scammed!
Scammed!
Had a text from Tesco saying i had a collection and to click the link, for delivery i had to pay £2. Yes i'm stupid like others who have been scammed.
I went on to the amour website to try and delete the account, which is NOT possible. I now need to replace my bank card and find a way to erase my details from that fraudulent dating company,
Just received another txt
Just received another txt, just like the first txt I received saying the same thing that, "I've won another package from Tesco", I didn't open it, as I know Tesco doesn't work like that, I'm not sure it was anything to do with Amordating.co.uk this time as I didn't follow the link, but it was definitely Amordating.co.uk the first time and it did look identical to the first scam txt I received.
BUT please be careful with any txt message saying that you have won something from Tesco because you haven't it's a SCAM.
Just thought I'd share what happened today.
I have checked my blocked list and the number on the Scamming txt was 50636.
Since I wrote this, I've had to rewrite and ulter what I'm saying, because of Amordating.co.uk, it's been flagged by Amordating.co.uk too and they had it temporarily removed as they desperately don't want people to see what i have experienced twice now ??,
Im just trying to stop more innocent people from being scammed which Amordating.co.uk dont like at all ? Speaks volumes doesn't it !!!
Amor Dating
Well like many others I was scammed by this company, Amor dating.
They said I had won a phone in s Tesco prize draw. But it was a scam. I paid £2 supposedly for shipping of this phone. But I was duped into joining this dating site and that was really what the £2 was for. Unbeknowingly to me.
However, good news guys, I contacted my bank and stopped Amor dating from taking anymore fees. I suggest to everyone that this is your first point of call.
Secondly I contacted Amor dating via email and I was like a dog with a bone. I perserveered telling them I had contacted the CEO at Tesco who were now looking into this matter. I provided screen shot proof toTesco of what was going on I.E the phone and draw etc
I attached this proof to Amor dating too, every email I sent them as proof of them scamming me. I sent a lot of emails guys and never gave up trying to claim my £2 back that they scsmmed from me and I threatened to contact the press about them. I recommend you all to do the same approach here. It worked.
Good news I finally got my £2 back from Amor dating.
😁

Your methods are disceptive I I want my money back
Your rules are entrapment you are stealing my benefits money which is to pay for food not to feed your family
I cancelled within 2 days and you are refusing to give my money back
You do not keep to your terms and conditions
You are stealing from people
Your site is disceptive
Why did they contact me?…
Amordating contacted me to say I had become a member out of the blue. I don't know why. I had certainly not been in touch with them, however its srange that this happened 10 minutes after I was stupid enough eo go on to a website purporting to give mobile phones to the elderly to help to bring them more up to date. As my wife died 4 weeks before this happened it is the last thing I want to be involved with. Where did they get my email address from?
One huge joke.I received e-mail from…
One huge joke.I received e-mail from Argos store saying that if I will spend 2 minutes taking a part in survey,I will get the Samsunng galaxy 8 for £2.I did, answered the questions, paid £2(were taken straight away)with my debit card and...I received next welcoming email with congratulations and informing me that I am a new member of dating website(married,2 children). They also informed me my VIP membership run out in 3 days and they will renew my profile automatically and charge £18,95.Disquisting.Just wondering how far you will go to rip off people and take money from them(main purpose).I don't want to log in on website to cancel "my account" whatever that mean as I did not agreed for anything but if a single penny will be taken from my account I will go further. You do not answered on my email so that review is my way to ask you about cancellation "my account".I already took a legal advice and I know what to do next so please take it seriously and cancel whatever of my details you have plus stay away from me as you are one big mistake(SPAM).

dating and a chance at prizes!
i joined amor dating using the basic service instead of vip membership until i could decide if i thought it was a service worth paying for.as theres so many dating sites out there its hard to find the right one or you could spend a fortune.upon joining amor you are given 'hearts' and every day you log in you receive more 'hearts' which you can use on heart lotteries to win various prizes.ive already won 2 pairs of earings, a digital camera, and a biofireplace aswell as elizabeth arden hand cream. this is an extra bonus that is unusual to most dating sites and means im happy to upgrade to full vip membership now.an excellent site.thankyou amordating!

This company should be shut down!
Took my money, said they had given me VIP membership but all I got was basic and no free toothbrush either. Sent a few e-mails to customer service but they seem to have been ignored. Do NOT waste your £1 on this!

Great site if you're looking for love and community
I have to admit that I only created an account with Amordating because they were offering a free electric toothbrush (probably to prepare oneself for the first date). The registration process was quick and simple, and I liked the fact that you have to get verified by an administrator, helps keep the trolls at bay.
One pretty unique feature is that for most interactions, including logging in once a day, you get points, which you can use to enter lotteries. So far I've won a mini fireplace, a camera and silver earrings.
The website has a slightly outdated feel to it, but it also has a sense of community and genuineness that I really like.
I haven't found the one I'm looking for yet, but am sure I will at some point.
