Chemical taste, disgusting texture

Hard to peel, the inside was disgustingly sticky. The taste of both the peel and the inside was disgusting. Tasted like chemicals and plastic, also way too sweet. As someone with a massive sweet tooth somehow this was still too sweet for me to have more than 3. Will not be buying again or recommending to anyone. To anyone who reads this, please remember that just because something is a TikTok trend doesn't mean it actually is good and worth your money. Now I am stuck with three flavours of disgusting lollies that I would feel too guilty even gifting to someone.

Viral TikTok Mango Candy

After seeing the new viral trend on TikTok, gummy mango candy that you can peel! I needed to try it. Recently while delivering for Door Dash I saw that they were being sold in Target. And while I do not support Target, I decided to get the candy to try. The experience was very enjoyable, peeling the candy and both parts being edible. But that's all they were... edible. They did not taste like "real mangos," and barely taste like artificial ones. To me, they taste like plastic. Chemical. I was sad to discover this, but it made sense to me, as I have yet to follow a TikTok trend that delivers what is promised in every video.
