Amped Auto Rentals is a delivery-only electric vehicle and SUV rental company serving Miami-Dade and Broward County, Florida. We have no rental counter and no lot to visit. We bring the car to you — your home, your hotel, your office, or your terminal at Miami International (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL). We have been renting since 2020. Our fleet is all electric vehicles and SUVs: Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, Chevrolet Equinox EV, and 5- and 7-seat SUVs for families and larger groups. Daily rates run $85 to $115 depending on the vehicle, with discounts that increase the longer you rent — 5% off at three days, 10% at seven, 20% at thirty. Delivery within 50 miles is a flat $120 covering both the drop-off and the pickup, and it is free on rentals of seven days or more. If you would rather collect the car yourself, self-pickup at one of our designated meeting points in Miami Gardens or Hollywood is free at any rental length. These are meeting points for handing over keys, not offices — there is no counter and no line. A few things worth knowing before you book, because we would rather you hear them from us than be surprised: we place a $250 refundable authorization hold that releases three to seven business days after you return the car. There is a $10 per day booking fee. Direct rentals require a signed credit card authorization form before we release a vehicle — it takes a few minutes and we walk you through it. Optional protection is available at checkout through Bonzah and RentalCover. Our electric vehicles are delivered fully charged and should come back at 80% or above. We will tell you exactly where to charge on your route, including for trips to the Keys or up to Orlando. Range planning in South Florida is genuinely easy once someone shows you the map, and that is part of what you are renting from us.
