I visited for the first time this morning with my daughter on foot of a recommendation from my sister. I was very impressed. Robbie was incredibly helpful, very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. The gait analysis was very useful and addressed my concerns re ankle stability. We are delighted with our trainers. I can't recommend highly enough.

I was in amphibian kings on Monday and let’s just say when it comes to expertise and advice it was an amazing experience. The whole experience was great from the moment I walked in. I was just looking for a little help running wise and shoe wise. They took all the time in the world to bring me through running style ,gates ,balance and so much more. I had heard about the kings for ages and just did not believe what I was told previously but the real experience was excellent from start to finish. Such a relaxed atmosphere. I could not recommend more here. GO EXPERIENCE THEM!!! Thanks so much to all for the help.

Had bad knees from running over the years, the guys at the shop did a full assessment of my feet and running posture. They fitted me with new shoes and have not had any issues since. Brilliant service and full of knowledge. Thanks guys.

Yet another great trip to my fav shop, staff are always on hand to put you in the right direction for the best show to suit your needs. Always so helpful and attentive. Will be back again 🥳

First time buying proper running shoes and couldn't recommend the guys enough. They measured my feet done the gait test and then helped me select the right type of shoe for what I wanted. Have been out a few times now and am running pain free.

Got Gait Analysis done by Damian in Ballymount store. Recommended me my Mizuno Neo vista now my favourite shoe.

Very disappointing experience on Saturday the 13th July. Travelled from Kildare especially for their expertise. I usually wear a size 7-7.5 runner/shoe, the person working in the shop insisted I was a 9.5-10 based on his meaauring of my feet and that I was wearing the wrong size. I was fairly sceptical but he assured me the 9.5 was a good fit on me.
As I'm new to running and he sounded so confident I paid €180 for the runners based on his "expert advise". Wore them around my house & they were like clown shoes. Brought them back the following week and a different member of staff measured my feet and said I'd be an 8. Exchanged the runners for ones that actually fit! Could have injured myself running in the ridiculously oversized runners I was originally sold. Staff need retraining!

I was looking for shoes for running this marathon that I’m doing every week and this guy named Damien helped me in the best way possible with the best shoes for me 10/10 recommend getting your shoes form amphibian king

I had ongoing trouble with my arch and was recommended to buy one of the product at the shop in April 2024. I was happy with my shoes, tried to train a few times and ran my VHI women’s mini marathon. Unfortunately, my pain came back after the race badly. I brought back them at shop, and they suggested a few things to do, although my pain was still existed and my pain was a lot better with my old shoes. I brought them back at the shop and there is no fuss to refund fully. I am very happy to go back to buy another product in the future. Very trustful service and professional. I am so impressed! Thank you!!

Not sure if the guy who served me was the owner, but if he wasn't then the shop is in very capable hands. Having said that, it wouldn't matter regardless. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and patient. I will definitely use Amphibian King for myself and my family in the future.

what an incredible service. Eleanor gave me great advice on how to improve my running form & provided me with a more suitable shoe than I was previously using. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Eleanor and Pearce were so helpful getting me fitted for some comfortable shoes, which requires a lot of patients as I have neuropathy. They were more knowledgeable than the many podiatrist I’ve seen, and gave me tips on how to stay comfortable in the shoes with my issues of swelling. Could not recommend them more.

I was in the Bray store where Pearse looked after my daughter and I. He was endlessly patient and upbeat, we must have tried on half the shoes in the shop but eventually found a pair for her! Excellent service, very happy with it.
