I have recently moved into my Anchor…

I have recently moved into my Anchor flat. Even though there were some outstanding issues that needed to be resolved. My location manager Luca has been fantastic. I feel absolutely at home already. Anchor provide a great homely experience.

would not recommend Anchor independent…

would not recommend Anchor independent living especially St.Aidans House, North Shields, it is like living in a prison.

The Manager is excellent

The Manager is excellent. She is welcoming, helpful and efficient. I've only given 4 stars because I'm disappointed that Anchor wouldn't replace the bathroom flooring so I paid for it to be done. I think this should have been done for hygiene reasons as the flooring was certainly not new.

Just moved in

We recently moved in and couldn’t be happier. The process was smooth, welcoming, and well organised from the start.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Luca, our housing manager, who went above and beyond to prepare everything for our arrival. He answered every question with patience and clarity and made us feel supported during a typically stressful time. Thanks to his professionalism and kindness, we felt at home right away.
We’re grateful for the sense of community and care Anchor association fosters, it’s made all the difference as we begin this new chapter.

abysmal

abysmal , all about taking your money but wont pay out for anything , 20 year old dangerous boilers falling apart and still wont replace

So far,I can only say that since I have been dealing with Anchor housing is has been positive. All the people I dealt with they are very professional, helpful and patient when it comes to explain.

So far all I can say is that dealing with Anchor in general has been very good. Every time I dealt with a member of staff they all have been extremely professional, helpful and patient. I also like to add that again so far I feel happy,safe and relaxed.

Very efficiently handled

Very efficiently handled, helpful and pleasant staff. Accommadation clean tidy and in a pleasant area.
Only drawback is poor car parking availability that is an issue!

Absolutely disgusting even the mention…

Absolutely disgusting even the mention of that company gets my blood boiling Now they are charging me a months rent when I haven’t even stepped into the place The room given to was all smelly and I am told that there was a toilet leak and the place was flooded This was not said to me when I was asked to sign the paper work by the location manager on the 20/5/26 and found all this out from the other residents I got a private builder to have a look at the floors and basically he was swinging on the floor boards underneath and he gave me a bill of nearly 6500 to fix it all There is a bath tub which I saw but I thought when I move in I will change it to shower but got told after signing up by other residents thst that it had to stay as a bath tub & it can’t be changed Now all this should have been made clear to me by the staff rather than the residents Appalling customer service so I terminated my tenancy a week later on the 27/5/2026 which so far has cost me near enough £1200 in short I am soo disappointed at every thing the way I was cornered to sign by her saying it is this or nothing as she threatened as she would put it down as third refusal I would not recommend this company to anyone as I didn’t find them at all helpful I am down by nearly £1200 for choosing them and for no fault of mine I wrote a complaint email to head office regarding all this 7 days ago and I was told today it hasn’t even been logged on their system
