This is an excellent handbook for natural remedies! I've only had it a few days, but I've already discovered a sleep tea that helps! I like how the book is laid out by health issues instead of alphabetically, so much easier to find help! Also, there are recipes for meals in here that look delicious! I highly recommend this handbook!

Worth buying a copy

The service that Rena provided was excellent. She was obliging, efficient and quick. She responded within 24 hours to my requests, always with good communication.

Received prompt reply from support team regarding my placing my order via their website instead of from the link on my phone. I intended to purchase 2 copies as gifts for my sister-in-law and my daughter. I ended up buying 3 copies with the discounts. As mentioned in the ads. the book is very set out with great recipes. I have yet to try them out but my sister-in-law is very happy with it.

The author makes many sweeping claims about the need to combine herbs to get proper absorption, or the need to process herbs in certains way, eg fermentation to get benefit from the herb, especially the well known garlic. Proper scientific research does not back the claims up, but rather says that herbs are good and effective on their own, in a fresh state. They can be combined, they can be fermented, but don't have to be,especially with things like heart health, anti-inflammation and gut health. Shannon Greef, one of the authors is writing from the perspective of a traditional herbalist and looks at preliminary scientific studies only. Don't be bullied or discouraged by her from cooking good healthy tasty food with fresh ingredients that you like, esp garlic ginger lemon mint rosemary olive oil turmeric cabbage parsley and so on
