I have been seeing Lucy regularly with my terrier brothers who didn't have a good start in life. She is amazing. The sessions are enjoyable and the dogs love her. She is so kind, approachable and knowledgeable. Her methods have brought great improvements on a number of issues, I wouldn't be without her. She really has changed our lives!
Lucy has been brilliant with our dogs, not only helping us to train them, but helping us to understand them and communicate better with them. All done in a constructive way without force, either in her own enclosed field or in the comfort of your own home dependent on your preference. I’d recommend Lucy to anyone!
Lucy takes her time to really understand your dogs and treat them as individuals, without any preconceived notions. She uses positive methods based on kindness to help you see things from your dog's perspective and find what works best for them, instead of using outdated and harmful methods based on dominance, "being the pack leader", or fear/pain. The results speak for themselves.
Lucy was great with my dog and very helpful, gave good advice.
Over the years I have tried many approaches to manage the, at times, very difficult behaviour of my dog, especially growling, lunging and barking at other dogs.
Lucy's approach is totally different from others I have experienced. Not only have I seen a rapid improvement in my dog's behaviour but also a complete change in our relationship as I now understand him and his fears and anxieties better and he trusts me much more.
I would highly recommend this approach to anyone with struggling with similar fear based reactive behaviours
