Morally Deficient

Unbelievable company, do not ever use them. Their products are shocking. They will make every effort not to pay. Their basic insurance is so basic it actually never pays out. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Who needs an umbrella that doesn't keep the rain off?

TOO ANXIOUS TO KILL ANIMAL SHELTER THAT LIE AND TEAR FAMILIES APART. Wildomar CA.

My 9 year old pedigree Lab was taken there without my permission she was not a stray she was not abandoned she was unfortunately caught up in domestic issue. I was under the impression that my at the time boyfriend was looking after her little did I know he had every intention and plan on taking her to a shelter. Molly was her name and she was the most beautiful girl in the world we have never spent a day apart not in 9 years due to some horrible circumstances of her and I being moved to California from Nevada by my now ex only to be abandoned here with nothing and nobody. We were all we had. She had me and I had her my only family. We both were on the street. I did the best I could with what I had to work with which was not a dollar, being evicted, losing everything I have ever owned. But I had her. During our time of being homeless she developed a Lipoma on her paw she has had many surgically removed never cancerous. And I know this was the same. All she needed was a doctor's care. I went to many offices asking to please see her nobody would without the $$. Up until this point she had health insurance her entire life. Go figure. So back to AFV. I don't know why they took her she was chipped they never called me they called my ex husband who never cared about either one of us. And after speaking with him they still never called me. I called them. I told them I would be there Saturday. With my situation being so tough I was put in the worst decision making spot of my life. BTW 3 days prior I had heard AFV offered a grant to see a vet I contacted Kathy got the paperwork and would be seeing her Monday as this was a Friday. Well it was that weekend my ex took her in stating it was to get her help knowing dam well I received this grant and appt. And God knows what he told them to take her. They have never told me anything on any of this. So back to the decision I had to make I couldn't in my heart take her to the streets with this lipoma weighing her down. At least in there she was cool she was fed and I would hope comfortable but also knew broken hearted thinking I abandoned her. She had separation anxiety. We were inseparable. I was offered a shelter for abused women but no dogs so no way. I called and called and called this shelter after I couldn't get there Saturday at least 15 times at least 10 vm with no response. My mistake I did get one call back in it was the 9th day they left a voicemail saying that if I didn't go there the next day she would be put up for adoption I literally called them right back within 5 minutes and they did not answer, called back again no answer left another voicemail as I did 10 times before telling them who I was who she was and to not put my dog down do not put my dog down. I left messages with the after hours services stating the same thing expressing the severity of the issue and to specifically say do not put my dog down. I will admit that once I heard the voicemail that she would be put up for adoption I was a little relieved because I actually thought that maybe they were taking care of her because I had told my ex that all he did by taking her there was for her to suffer just to wait to die. He just wanted rid of her. I was able to make it there by day 13 and they had put her down the morning after they called me telling me she was gonna be put up for adoption. All I needed was 10 min on the phone. They told me it was my fault I didn't get there in time they told me they needed the room and she was taking up space they told me that she probably had cancer anyway but yet she never saw a doctor there they told me that it was the hardest decision they ever had to make but yet it wasn't there's to make they were so insincere in so cold about it that for 2 years since this happened I have cried everyday. They also told me that they called all the animal rescues and nobody wanted her since then I have called every animal rescue and I have asked what would be a reason for them not taking in animal and there is no reason that they would not take an animal they love elderly animals they love animals that need care hospital care that's what their there for so Animal Friends of The Valley lied straight to my face. They never called any rescue they didn't even try. They also said that due to the amount of messages they get they don't check them all or check them at all at times so that was the reason for not calling me back but my question is how do they have the number to call me back that Monday about her being adopted out, it's another lie. This place is corrupt this place does not care about the animal the only reason that animals get rescued from there is probably from the rescue groups the volunteers and people that actually care because employees of Animal Friends of The Valley they don't have a heart and they don't have a soul actually I was told from an ex employee that she was fired for being too compassionate what does that tell you. Plz don't take animals here.
