Delivery arrived very late
Delivery arrived very late , very poorly packed so almost all the products were broken / damaged.
Messaged the company regarding a refund but they are blaming the courier.
As they would have insured the parcel they will be recompensed anyway so why not issue a refund to me the customer ?

Hi Val,
Its such a shame you chose to write this review, as one small business owner to another. As per my emails, I have raised a claim with DPD and will refund you once (and if) I recieve the moneys owed. As yet I have not recieved a response from them, despite spending most of yesterday trying to get through to a staff member who could log the claim and issue a refund. I baked and posted your order on 5th August. I boxed each cake slice individually with cake boards and boxed all other items for extra protection. They were packaged with no additional space or room to move to the left or right. I labelled the box as fragile, this way up signs and sent it next day delivery.
According to the tracking information, it was then due for delivery on 7th (a day later than I'd paid for) and then rescheduled for 8th. It was finally delivered on 11th August. The image of delivery clearly shows a staff member accepting delivery of the, by now, very very damaged box. It seems that during delivery something heavy had been placed on top of it, it had been turned upside down and according to your pictures there was also damage to the bottom. I agree that the damage is excessive and the quality of delivery was extremely poor. However, there is nothing further that I as a small business could have done to protect the fragile contents from that level of mishandling. I have investgated your complaint and found that we were not at fault, but have nonetheless persisted to get you a refund from the third party at fault.
First time purchase
First time purchase. Very happy with contents of box. Everything well presented and extremely tasty.
Will be placing another order soon. Thank you for much more tastier treats than you get in most shops and supermarkets.

Can't fault!
We ordered gluten free sausage rolls, chicken bakes, tomato loaf and orange and pistachio tea cakes!
We loved it all, at first I thought it was a bit expensive but the sizes were huge so 100% worth the money. Tomato loaf was moist and squishy, my only complaint being that I didn't have enough butter in the house to eat it all!
Chicken bakes were *massive* and we had one each for dinner, but with more sides you could easily split one between two. Delicious filling and pastry lovely!
Sausage rolls were so nice we ordered them again straight away!
The teacakes were something I've never had before, beautiful with perfectly tempered chocolate, a moist pistachio sponge, marshmallow and a tart orange jelly inside, reminiscent of posh jaffa cakes, but a work of art!
Lovely to have a good gluten free bakery locally. We are very impressed, and will be supporting this local business as much as we can.
