I started Antglobe because I’ve always been obsessed with the way ants work. There is something incredible about watching a tiny queen start with nothing and build a massive, organized empire right on your desk. But I also know that for a lot of people, starting this hobby is confusing. You worry about the ants dying, or you don't know which nest to buy, or you get overwhelmed by bad advice online. At Antglobe, we keep things simple. We sell healthy ant colonies from the classic beginner friendly Lasius niger to the impressive seed harvesting Messor barbarus and the supplies you actually need to keep them alive and happy. Everything we sell, from the acrylic formicaria to our specialized liquid sugars and protein mixes, is gear we use for our own colonies at home. We’re not a big corporate shop, we are ant keepers first. Our goal is to be the place I wish I had when I first started out. That means honest blogs that tell you the truth about hibernation cycles and humidity control, a "Live Arrival Guarantee" so you don’t have to stress about the shipping process, and a real person on the other end of the email when you have a question. We focus heavily on ethical keeping. We ensure that every queen is caught responsibly and that our nests are designed to mimic a natural underground environment as closely as possible. We believe that ant keeping is the ultimate way to connect with nature, even if you live in a small city apartment. It’s about more than just a pet. It’s about observing a living, breathing ecosystem. We’re here to make sure your journey into the world of ants is easy, and, most importantly, fun. Whether you are ordering your very first test tube queen or building a giant setup, welcome to the colony.
