My 4-year-old has been attending Ant Learning’s online reading classes and the progress has been amazing. She started in November last year in the Learn to Blend sessions and has now moved up to the intermediate class. I can genuinely see a huge improvement in her sound blending and overall reading confidence.

What’s been especially reassuring is that her teachers at school have also commented on how strong her reading skills are and how she’s already ahead of her reception class. The lessons are engaging, age-appropriate, and really well structured, which makes it easy for young children to stay focused.

I am very impressed with the quality of teaching and the results we have seen so far. I would highly recommend Ant Learning to any parent looking to support their child’s early reading journey.

Growing up, my parents always signed my siblings and myself up for various activities over the summer holidays to keep us engaged and help us grow.

In the same way, my husband and I enrolled our children in Ant Learning’s summer school for two weeks in 2024 to give them a head start for Year 3.

The Ant Learning team was both friendly and professional. Their sign up process, communication and onboarding were world-class and the learning structure was very engaging for our kids. Another unique factor was that Ant Learning is one of the few quality tutoring services that accept Childcare Vouchers.

We were so impressed with the Summer School experience that we enrolled our kids for the term time Saturday School.

The class size is small enough for each child to feel seen and heard, and we’ve seen the kids grow in their vocabulary, comprehension and maths skills.

Amazing Learning Program

My daughter started the ANT Learning reading program in the spring term. Before she began, she had a reading age of 5-6 years and could read simple three- to four-letter words. However, she struggled with blending sounds and pronouncing multi-syllable words.

In just 12 weeks, her ANT Learning teacher has completely transformed her reading ability. She can now pick up children's novels and read them by herself with little to no help. She enjoys attending the branch every Saturday and speaks very highly of her teacher. She recently joined the 6+ English lessons and absolutely loved her first week, so looking forward to where this takes her.

Thank you so much for helping my child reach a higher potential. I could always see that she loved reading but would often get frustrated when she stumbled over words she couldn’t pronounce before starting the program, She is a little more advanced compared to the school curriculum and i didn't want her to get bored or discouraged by going through what she already knew.

By the way, my daughter is only 5 years old — and now she has a reading age of a 9-10 year-old! I am super proud and incredibly grateful to ANT Learning for helping her unlock this amazing potential.

I have had a great experience using Ant. My child enjoys the lessons and the homework sent to be done during the week.

It has been a pleasure to have ant learning tutor my children for over the last 7 years. The teachers are great and really focus on making sure the kids can apply the principles and are really thorough with making sure they understand each section to an excellent degree before moving on. I’ve been really impressed with how my kids have been able to develop and improve in a short space of time. Well done to the amazing team!

From the very first trial session, the experience was very different and much more positive than experiences I've had with other tuition centres. The communication is excellent and the extras like seminars for parents are really valuable resources. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
My son is enthusiastic to return every week, which is always a good thing.

Our childs ability to read, spell and write has completely turned around. Our child is thriving since joining Ant School. Before Ant school, we tried teaching different things to our child on our own and were not very effective. The tools given by Ant School (work sheets and additional educational tools for homework work) has enabled us to work with our child at home and we see a complete difference to our childs engagement. With Ant School we know we are not alone and they care for our childs success as deeply as we do. Our child prefers Ant School to regular school, and loves the 1:1 tailored support. Thank you Ant School, it hasn't been a year yet and we are so grateful for your support and taken aback with our childs rapid development!

My two children started the reading programme with Ant learning and went in to do the maths and English programmes. Their academic progress have Ben superb. Both of my children were reading fluently while in reception class. They have consistently been above the year group - one of them has moved up through the different programmes all the way to the 11plus programme and one to the 9plus programme. They have been huge support and the programmes have given them a solid foundation in Maths and English. Beyond that, I also love that the programmes have instilled the discipline of learning exhibit I believe will be of great value as they into the senior years in their education. Thank you so much Ant learning for the care and support given to the children.

I enrolled my daughter for the reading (English) programme. She made very good progress in reading. I was impressed with the results. Now I also enrolled her for Maths programme.

We joined Ant Learning in July after speaking to another parent friend. In addition to our son enjoying the classes, what has struck me the most has been the timely and descriptive feedback from his teachers we’ve received to help us know how to support our son. I get a sense that they are as invested as we are in my sons success.

I am grateful for the 3 weeks my son spent at Ant Learning during the summer. My son improved on his ability to complete tests and he is now very confident about the upcoming 11 Plus exams. I also received regular feedback from the tutor about my son’s progress which I found very helpful.

Very good institution. As direct result of their teaching our daughter is thriving academically and outstanding at school. The administration is very efficient, with very good communication. We recommend them.

The program is well structured and at the same time tailored to each individual’s ability.
