I purchased a brand-new Garmin…

I purchased a brand-new Garmin Forerunner 970 from Anton Sport. From day one, I experienced serious issues with the heart rate sensor – it would constantly drop in and out throughout the day. I filed a warranty claim quickly and returned the watch along with the original Garmin packaging.

Despite clearly stating that I wanted a refund and to return the product, Anton Sport ignored this and sent the watch back to me weeks later:
• The watch was returned dirty, even though I had sent it in completely clean and unused
• The original packaging was missing
• It was poorly wrapped in a bit of bubble wrap
• They claimed they “found no issue” with the product, despite the obvious and repeated problems I experienced

To make matters worse, I have still not received a refund, even though I clearly requested one and rejected receiving the product back.

This is simply unacceptable handling of a legitimate warranty case. The lack of responsibility, communication, and basic respect for the customer is shocking – especially when dealing with high-end products at this price level.

I strongly advise against shopping at Anton Sport. If something goes wrong, don’t expect help or accountability – even when you’re fully in your rights as a customer.

I don't recommend that company, If you want buy something online, I made order and payed in front, but nothing happening... No order or return my money and support just ignoring me...

I boughted two pairs of Insole for a trek brand Superfeet
First the employe cut it too small into my running shoes not so professional or technical guy but with a good marketing thats all
Not so fair i decide too use it for test
i read before that superfeet could make an exchange in warranty befor 60 days
so two days after i came back for an exchange but they said NO you must ask superfeet or the subs in Norway is Anatomix
Excuse me but its a wrong policy from all of them

Highly satisfied

We bought the ski equipment for all 4 members of our family at Anton Sport in Trondheim.

We received very sympathetic and experienced advice from various people.

Even when it turned out after testing the skis for the first time that scating skis were not suitable due to knee problems, these scating skis were exchanged for classic skis without any problems at all.

We are extremely satisfied with the advice, the products and the goodwill of this shop.

We will shop there again and again!

I bought around 10k worth of clothing…

I bought around 10k worth of clothing here, only to lose 700nok from my bonus points because items I received were faulty. I returned them and was informed that "money will be returned", to which they confirmed that I will receive my bonus points back.
I did not. Not only that, the support person (Kristian) was rude and kindof accused me of lying.

I wish I saw the rating here before going there.

Salesmen are liars

Anton CC Vest, Oslo. I bought an EV bike Cannondale in April 2024 and I regretted not recording the conversation with the salesman. The guy bluntly lied to my face about the characteristics of the bike and the service afterwards. Beware!

Avoid Anton Sport, bad costumer service!

We received an email from Anton Sport, our order was ready to pick up at store. We arrived but our order was not there! Avoid to buy from this shop, no costumer care, information ore possibilities to get a similar product was given to us. Many places offer Hoka in Oslo, go for another place……

Very nice and helpful retail staff

I had a great experience with one of the retail staff in the store Torggata, Mads. I reserved running shoes there and he helped me with understanding the sizing and features + I had a lot of questions about buying skis and he was really helpful with trying to find the right skis, bindings and shoes for my needs.

Really amazing experience and appreciate the nice approach, thanks Mads!

Very expensive shop and very unpleasant…

Very expensive shop and very unpleasant managers who doesn't know nothing in sales and not to train their people.Lazy and they don't understand that people buy from people they like.Very overpriced for the same quality the others has too + arrogant.The guest has the money 💰 and you have the product to sell 😀

I got a backpack with traces of dirt

I got a backpack with traces of dirt. I wrote to support and attached photos. As the first solution, I got a refund to the client account 10% of the value. To which I say it doesn't solve the problem. Then I was offered to exchange the backpack. I bought this backpack to use it every day and unfortunately, I couldn't stay without it anymore. And I say about and already in the following email, I got information that the exchange option is not available anymore. I'm left with the only option - 10% on the client's account. I sent maybe 3-4 more e-mails explaining that this in no way solves the problem. But still getting just such a stupid proposition.

Support is not focused on solving problems, but on ending the conversation as soon as possible.

I do not recommend Anton Sport, only if you do want to buy dirty things at the price of a new one.

A no-go
I wish I could be more positive about this shop for both online and in shop experience. Unfortunately, each time I have tried to purchase something, I had to deal with arrogant and not so customer-friendly/professional people. Not to mention the outrageous prices which are different from one shop to the other and even from one day to the other for the same item... Because of the corona situation I have lately placed an order online and I truly regret it. I still haven't received anything, I don't even know what I am going to get as I had two contradictory messages about what was sold out and what was not, however they were very quick to withdraw a whole lot of money. Nothing is being updated on their website and they don't know how to answer your questions on the phone....I am a new member but I'm afraid this is it. Their competitor(s) are way more professional and customer friendly and offer you a very smooth experience without bragging...
